Problem: I love tarot, but have few decks(3, awaiting "Fey" in over 60 days WHAA!). I can't say what my fav. would be in all fairness
Solution: For those that have the "Legend" deck,
What's your favorite card? Why?
Mine, well, could it be that obvious? the answer might suprise you. Care to guess?

I have a solution for that - i.e. the one I adopted :D :

Just look at the Aeclectic Database, and search for pictures online!

Of course it would take time to search for pictures of ALL of the decks in the DB...
Just have litle daily searches of a couple of decks, those whose few pictues on Aeclectic you liked already! ;)

And there are sites showing a lot of entire decks too, there used to be a thread about it...

Hey luna! I was choosing my fave card out of the decks that I have... or have seen all the cards of.

I have the Legend and one of my favorite cards is the Queen of Wands: Dindraine. The waves look like they are rolling. But there are so many beautiful cards in this deck! The World/ Dance of the Giants is stunning as well.

That's one of the main reasons I like that deck so much. The pictures almost come alive in your hands!

Rhiannon :)

my fav in the legend is nimue as the high priestess. she just looks so magical surrounded by the fairies and other little ppl. it makes me just want to joing her! i also like what the book has to say about nimue and merlin. some stories cast nimue in a negative way but i find this one more likely. she did what she had to to get her to leave her alone! LOL

yours i would guess would be the moon, lunalafey or the the HP.

My favorite is the Justice Card with the Lady of the Lake coming out of the water looking like a human sword. Intellect (sword) and compassion (water) can uphold justice.

As to your favorite card ... I have not gotten to know you well enough to guess, so I will go with the obvious by your name and second what Truthsayer said.

Morgan had the same fate, half-sister witch, but WHO was really that witch?(hmm..just exactly HOW did Mordred come about?)
I think Morgan just liked the other world better, she saw the turmoil in the courts and just really did not care to be a big part of it.
Nimue and the Lady are great, as all the cards are wonderful works of art.
HP, that would be the Heirophant, correct? I do like him, only because he's a taurus...
The Moon is my sig. if I use one. I don't think it's really fair to say that is my Fav. card, it just IS my card. I have always loved the moon, and Morgan was one of my fav. characters. When I got the deck, I did not know the 2 would be matched up, so.....I still have a favorite...hmm what could it be?

no, HP stands for the high priestess. i've never thought about what abbreviation i'd use for the hierphant or is everyone using HP for hierphant and i thought it meant high priestess. now i'm confused! ;)

Have you seen the thread about journals and abbriviations?

truthsayer  10 Jul 2002

I use it for High Priestess ... I do not abbreviate the Heirophant

HP was just my freaky thing, I don't abbr. the majors. but that is all explained in the J&A thread.
In the Legend deck, she is the High Priestess, but is only called The Priestess(that's why HP confused ME), not having been exposed to the more 'old school' styled decks, I am not to familiar with these origional titles, only those from my two decks(but a new 3rd that i'm still getting aquainted with)my first deck the HP is called
the Corn Maiden, so....I'm like a mushroom, left to grow in the dark.
