2 New decks for me this Week!

In keeping with the latest trend hitting the forum this week, I thought that I should tell you what decks I got this week. The first deck I purchased from someone who posted in the trading section. It was the, drum roll please, Arcus Arcanum!!! This deck is very well done! I can see now what the discription here at AT says that it is a male oriented deck. It really does look like a comic book. I love it! The second I purchased in a book store. It is the Mythic Tarot. I was put off by this one a first, but it is beginningto grow on me. I really like this deck!! What are your thoughts on this deck?

Congratulations on your new decks, Phoenix! How do they handle? Are the smooth and slippery for easy shuffling? Do you prefer one over the other? :TWOR Starfish

Well, I doubt that I will be able to use the Arcus Arcanum, but I love it non the less. The Mythic Tarot is large, but printed on good stiff card stock, which is nice. I think that I WILL be able to use this one!

Phoenix..I cannot Praise Mythic enough..I absolutely love this deck..the book is awesome..I use the Mythic the most!! Great buy..Let us know what your new deck spread says.. Mine was What will our Relationship be like? 9 Swords

Ya know what I just realized? The title of this thread is exactly the same as Pollux's, except he got 3 decks instead of my 2. I didn't even realize the title was the same until just now!

Pheonix: Congrats on your purchases! The first tarot reading that was ever ever ever done for me was by a friend who used the Mythic tarot. I was right into greek mythology at the time and it really made sense to me! (I could tell her more about the figures in the cards than she knew :P) I have been meaning to get myself a copy, just for old time sake... :)

Nice decks youve got! I have both and i really like them...i can't read with arcus actually cause most of the minors really puzzle me...but the mythic is a different story:) Enjoy Love and light Maan

yay you! i don't have either of these, so don't know at all what they look like, but now i'll have to check them out! (especially the arcanum one. i love comics!!!) anyway, congrats!

Phoenix, the Mythic was my first and only deck for several years, and I still love it. I think you will find it a good deck to work with. One of the things I like/d about it was using mythical figures added to a deeper level of understanding some of the keys of the cards. I know alot of folk on this site have used/do use the Mythic. Have fun with it!
