Act With Tarot Deck - Anyone got it?

Has anyone got the 'act with tarot' deck? Just seen it on the aeclectic tarot deck site and it looks like a lovely, inspiring deck. I'm fairly drawn to the black and white colouring as oppose the the usual coloured cards. I've previously stated that I'm not a fan of the R/W decks particularly cos of the bright colours. I find them too garish in appearance. Just wondered if anyone else has had any experience with this deck?

i've never heard of this deck until you brought it up. i like black and white decks, too... who am i kidding? i rarely meet a deck i don't like! LOL ;) but this deck has an unique style all its own. have you found out anyplace you can buy it or see more cards? if you decide to get it please let us tarot-holics know what you think of it. :)

i went to the website to learn more about the cards. apparently the cards are freeware and you can download and use them for noncommercial uses as long as you contact the creator and let him know. he wants to know how you use the cards. i tried to download a card but there seems to be some problem w/ the website. the website is listed in the decks section. if anyone is successful downloading this one, i'd love to know how you did it. i kept getting error messages.

Hi Truth, What do they mean by you can download it? Can you not buy these decks then? And also, what would you do with them when you've downloaded them? Sorry if it's a stoopid question but I did wonder a while back about these 'unpublished' decks x

There are several deck creators out there who, for whatever reason (usually having to do with the logistics and expense of publishing physical card decks) make their decks available only to be downloaded. You would then be free to download them and print them out, if you like, to create a physical deck. If it was a deck you thought you would use often, you could take them to a copy place to have them laminated, or buy a laminating machine to laminate them yourself, although either would be rather expensive. -- Lee

I actually mailed the author of this deck and website and asked him where I could buy this deck. He told me it is a online deck only. It has just never been printed and won't be printed anytime soon. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info, although it's a shame though because it's a lovely deck..wish he'd reconsider...think there'd be a few takers here! :D

Oh, I am sure there would be takers for it. I would be first in line! LOL. Yeah, it is a pity indeed, that they are not printing it. Let's hope that they change their minds.
