I am eager now to know what decks ae in everybody's collection. Maybe we can do a tally of the deck which is in most people's collection, and the least popular one (The one which isn't hardly in anybody's collection!) I'm also sure you Tarot-holics out there will have some very interesting, possibly OOP decks in your collection, so come on guys, have a bit of a bost here!

Oh goodness... mine's a VERY SHORT list. :D
I have only owned four in the last 14 years. I lost two of them. So, I currently use the Mythic Tarot and the Witches Tarot. I love them, and I'm fairly satisfied with these two... at the moment anyway. :)

Mine are the other non-tarot decks, Universal Waite, St. Petersburg, LotR, Tarot Nova, the Kalevala, Tarot for Cats, Halloween, Napo, Oz, Goddess, World Spirit, ToftW, Haindl, Mythic Golden Tarot of the Tsar, and Old English.
The Vetigo is both of ours, and the Glastonbury and VR may end up being "shared" decks also. For the moment, the Glastonbury and VR mine. :)

Well... If some deck hardly isn't in anyones collection its either not very popular or very hard to get ;-)
At any rate I own 2 decks for quite some time now and I'm not planning on any expansion in the near future. Instead I'm focusing the time I spend on Tarot to learning and understanding.
Mage the Ascention, my very first deck.
Rider Waite, my 2nd.
After getting into the tarot experience with my Mage deck I finally decided (since it actually worked for me) that the time had come to move on and get a "real" (rather: "official") deck. A decision I've never regretted.

you guys have so many decks!!
I have one! and I have had that one for seven years! I feel that if I buy a new one, the old one will be...jealous... how do I know when to buy a new one? should I ignore my feeling? what do you guys and girls think?
I also noticed that my deck seems very popular. I have the Arcus Arcanum and almost every list included that one!

I have to admit I only have 11 decks but i'm not jealous or unhappy, because i have many years to catch you up guys :) . Actually my boyfriend thinks i'm crazy for wanting more than a deck. (by the way, i have a deck wich was offered by a newspaper here in portugal, but i don't know if it counts, it's made out of simple cardboard, and i usually don't use it - it's the marseilles, good only for study purposes)

How we spend our money on cards
I threw most of the lists into a spreadsheet. There were 1,670 decks listed. I took the lists of 63 Aeclecticians. I gave up on the Marseille decks. Too complicated to classify. (10 decks showed up as some version of Marseille). I also skipped some confusing entries so the total below adds up to 1,578. Anyway, if a deck shows up 32 times, about half of all folks had it, etc.
