Anyone know of any decks with griffins in them? The Lyle-Jones Renaissance/Secret Tarot has them on the Chariot, as does the Art Nouveau Tarot. Robin Wood put one on the back of the man's cape in the 3 of Wands. There is a small one on the High Priestess in the Enchanted and Zerner-Farber decks.
Am I missing any?

I think that the animal-wise tarot has a griffon on the card backs. Thats the only one I can think of off hand.
I would love to have a griffon and/or gargoyle themed deck!

The college I graduated from uses the Griffin as a mascot. Lots of coffee mugs, pennants and bumper stickers with a big green Griffin in my house. --- Go Grossmont College !!

The Enchanted tarot by Amy Zerner has a tiny griffin in the High Priestess card. It's quite cute but I believe that's the only one in the deck.

I forgot one -- Lyle Renaissance/Secret has two little griffins on the sarcophagus in Death.
Maybe I'll draw a griffin tarot myself. Or collage one from photos of gargoyles. Or both, maybe. By the time I'm finished I might have a scanner.

Oooh... I'd love a griffon deck, too. Neat idea! I'm actually surprised there isn't one, come to think of it. Is there a deck that has other various mythical creatures as the theme?

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think there is a mythical creatures deck somewhere.
No matter. We need more. I have a nickname that needs a matching deck. My preferance would be cards that look like realistic creatures, no too fantasy book cover, and not so much pictures of statues. Well, depending on how its done I guess.....
