Ken and I were visiting Pike Place Market, and wandered across a metaphysical shop, and they had the Templar tarot. So (even though he was more in favor of the "I am One", :)) I ended up deciding to buy it. The images kind of fascinated me, although normally I am not drawn to this type of artwork, and they had other decks higher on "The List"; and decks I haven't seen in an actual store before.
After going through the cards, I think this will be more of a meditation deck for me, and I am intrigued by the combination of christian and pagan images. So does anyone else have this deck? Do you read with it?
(And I am planning another trip to the market soon, heh heh)
edited to say - never mind, I found the other thread - the one time I don't do a search.....

I have this deck, as do several other people around the forums. There are a couple other threads out there about this deck, so you might want to do a search to find some other opinions. Some of us are trying to do a study group (in the General Study Groups forum) and you are welcome to post to these threads or start a new one.
I think the art is unusual and great, and I love all the winged people and the Magic Flute. I ask everyone this, so I'll ask you: What do you think of the Magic Flute? What does it signify or mean to you?
Congratulations -- this is a terrific deck.
