While browsing through my fav new agey bookstore yesterday, I came across "The Children's tarot". The owner said although requested, no demo deck had come with it, so he was having a hard time selling it (because few want to buy for use without reviewing it first).
I've checked a few sites and can't seem to find it reviewed anywhere.
Does anyone know this deck and if so, is more of a collectors or is it any use to read with? The cover artwork looks very sweet - looks like it might be the Lover's card.

I believe that it is the one published by Lo Scarabeo of Italy, distributed by Llewellyn. YOu can see pics of it at their website, www.loscarabeo.com
Hope this helps!

Yep, that's definitely it. But the decription comes straight off the box, so unfortunately, it isn't telling me anything "real"....
Anyone have this?

amyel, I think this is a fairly new deck. I've been intrigued by it and will probably get it fairly soon. I like bright colors and it looks like a sweet deck. You can check out more pics on Tarot Garden and other sites to get a better feel for it. But I honestly think that not many people have had the chance to get this one yet. There is also a little more about it in the Tarot section of www.astroamerica.com

i've done business w/ this lady a few times over the years. she only carries decks she really likes and she has good taste. check it out or email her about the deck. i'm pretty sure she'll answer any questions for you.
you can find decks in the catalogue under decks at the site.

Thanks Truthsayer. I've got this site bookmarked, but confess, I never really looked through it.
I think I might get this deck anyway. It looks like a little treasure! And besides, it might someday make a nice gift for Lunar Rabbit's little daughter Josie someday, whom I god-mother to (or would that be goddess-mother since L.R. was joined the wiccan path now?).
Anyhow, it is a sweet looking deck.

I think I will definitely have to go back & buy this deck.

I'm not sure how much this deck normally goes for... but here's a link where you can get a copy for $14. Unfortunately they only have 1.

For shame! From just being interested in the deck, it's gone on my wishlist. Tarotholism strikes again. amyel, if you get this deck, you'll have to be sure to post and tell us how it looks and reads when it's actually in your hands.

I think this deck looks interesting... I am currently trying to acquire 'children' decks for my collection... I got the Whimsical, the Inner Child Cards, and now this one looks like it could do with a home in my collection...
