I have a friend whos son is fascinated with tarot. He is 7 years old and wants to learn the meanings of the cards. (he was so cute sitting in our class for over an hour last week just contentedly playing with her cards)
She is looking for a deck with nice pics, no nudity, something a 7 year old might relate to.
My thoughts were the Hanson Roberts, Halloween tarot, and Whimsical.
Anyone else have suggestions?

The first & the third for sure, I'm not sure about the Halloween one because I haven't seen all the cards yet, but if it's not too scary then yes, that one too.
Most decks are geared towards adults, but how about the stick figure tarot? There's another I think called the Garden of the Moon Pool.....but don't quote me on that one.
OH! There's a teddy bear deck out also (several, but only one was officially published) that might be ok, depends on the child though, it might be too cute & fluffy!

My thoughts:
Whimsical
Inner Child Cards
Hanson-Roberts
Glastonbury (perhaps)
Enchanted/Zerner-Farber (perhaps)
I think HudsonGray is thinking of Tarot of a Moon Garden, which is another good one, especially for fans of unicorns, dragons, and fairies.

Yeah! Tarot of the Moon Garden! That's the one--someone was talking in another thread about having it for their son who really connected with it.

Sounds good to me :) I have the H-R and the Whimsical, but I have only looked through the Halloween online (I can't find the url but there is a site where you can see all the pictures.) I'd let him see all three, and any others that people have suggested that you think are suitable, and let him pick one.

Maybe Bambini Tarot and Kinder tarot (the latter is a double set of Major Arcanas so kids can also play "Schnipp-Schnapp" with it) would also be nice.
Inner Child is also nice but I think the cards are far too big for children's hands.

If I were a little boy I would prefer the Halloween deck ... but that is just me.

Fiona -
The decks I would have mentioned have already been listed ;). I'm with Jewel - for a little boy, I'd probably go with the Halloween Tarot.
