The least expensive, most common or available Folchi Tarots as of 1/17/2003...check ebay and other sources listed below:
1. Master Tarot, which is Christian in theme, following events in Jesus' life as an evolved teacher. So many Biblical parallels are used and the scenic/people archetypes are in mixed dress. AGM Mueller is the publisher. $15 and I think Amazon.com.
2. Mini printouts of Citta Ferrerra, 22 majors only, but Chariot has an arrow on the drivers face---it's part of a puzzle by Buffalo Games. $18.00 and I think Amazon.com. They are returning my game pieces and I have to use a color printout from a TarotPassages.com review.
3. Readily available at a cost--TarotGarden.com and Alidastore.com, under three figures...
Tarot de Sissi (78-English/Italian)
Citta Palio de Pistoia (40 or 78 version, Italcards-English/Italian)
Columbus Tarocco (Italcards--Italian/English)
Nuava Mondo (Columbus---Spanish instructions)
Colors of Tuscany (22 majors only with watches/Marseilles archetypes)
Good hunting,
Mari H.

My suggestion: send a message to Tarotgarden.com as a search service.
It may take a year to find the title that you want, but I did get the out of print Tarocco de Corona Fererra for $25.00 through an estate sell at a local tarot conference. My sights were set on having the Di Gumppenberg historical tarots through Italian sources.
Best wishes,
Mari H.

We actually managed to claw a Felicita into our inventory a couple of months ago, and we still have it. All the requests for the Felicita in our search queue came in with a $50 or $100 price cap -- and when we find a Felicita (this is only the second one, in fact, since we started business two years ago), there's no way we ever find it for anywhere close to $100 (let alone less than that) through the sources we have to use. So despite the deck's popularity, we still have it available for the moment.

I hope you can get it...I forgot to say that your stained glass tarot has the same beautiful coloring and graceful lines. If you need encouragement, I'd say it's a worthwhile buy for your artistic talents.
I'm eyeing the Pistoia on Tarotgarden.com and de Sissi on Alidastore.com because these full decks are under $100, and have historical associations related to my studies.
Pistoia in the 40 card version is not my favorite---Mitilogical for a long time was my favorite. I cannot use it everyday, but it works when I need a break from intensive art history studies. I'm like most of you, these things require budgeting to a 'tarot account'.
My best wishes and hats off to Tarotgarden.com and those who truly love the Folchi tarots

thanks for the complement. it seems quite sad that the decks so hard to find and whenever there is an actual find, it cost over $50. oh well, lets just see what happens...

Hummingbird, where have you seen the Felicita deck for $750? I can't afford it, I'm just interested in the source for future reference.
I've wanted this deck for a long time; after all, it has my name on it! As Mari pointed out, though, Amerigo Folchi has illustrated many lovely decks, some more readily available than others. I currently have the Tarot of Sissi in my collection.

Hey, I can't afford it either, but even if I could, it's a large sum to pay for something that will most likely collect dust on a shelf! At that price, I would be very hesitant about allowing anyone to even touch it, much less read with it! Oh well, maybe some financial windfall will come my way.
I emailed Tarot Garden and got a quote.
