mentioned in another thread, this deck was said to be a limited edition of only 1000. This may end up true. The web sie says 1000 copies for the introductory signed and numbered printing. I think I'm willing to risk a second printing.
AT $90 US I can buy 5-8 decks off of ebay. (I bid low) Sheesh I may like my poster of the 78 Dali tarot cards but you couldn't make me pay $90 for the deck.

Does anyone here actually have this deck? If so, is it worth it? :)

I have it and I really like it. It is a photographic deck with no graphic manipulation. I have to say the deck is exquisite. It is RWS based, and very easy to read. The cards are a little larger than average on excellent card stock. The deck is beautiful and very usable, not just another pretty art deck. The box for the deck is a hard box, the lid lifts off. The signature and numbering are on the box. It does not come with a LWB, but if you are comfortable with the RWS you will not need one. The deck has a pagan feel to me. As a collector I am willing to occassionally splurge on a deck and I do not regret my choice at all ... It was worth it to me, and I can only speak for myself. This is the only deck I have spent this kind of money on so far and it took me 8 years to do that! *LOL*.

May you and your deck live happily ever after. But seriously, it is a pretty deck on my wish list. ...if only I didn't have to worry about money.

Jewel, I'd be interested to hear your opinions regarding the keywords on the Minors...

The words are located in the top margin of the cards, on a black background, and are the same size and color (white) as the card title. I do not agree with all of them. They are very gentle in my opinion (i.e. 5 of Wands - "Collaboration"; 9 of swords - "Concern"). The deck is gentle actually, but I would not call it sugary sweet. Great for shadow work, meditation and self discovery work. But honestly the pictures are so nice and evocative that I barely notice the words. The pictures for the most part draw me right in before I get to the top margin of the card. Do you have this deck Lee? If you do I would love to hear your opinion of it. I have been planning to write a review of it for Aeclectic just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Ohhh and for those who like reversible backs ... this deck has them.

No, I don't have it, I was just looking at it on the website... it looks like a nice deck, but I can't really justify the expense. I've bought one ultra-expensive deck so far (Blue Rose), and that's a nice deck too, but such a lot of money...

I know what you mean Lee ... like I said it took me 8 years to spend this money on a deck. If you ever do get the chance to get it I do think it is a very nice deck and very usable and readable too.

Does anyone know if this will ever come out in a lower-price version for those of us who don't care about limited editions but just want a lovely and readable deck for our own use?
I wish Blue Rose and Animal Tarot would, too, but alas, I have the feeling that we in the masses will never get a chance...
