Im receiving his deck in a trade so Ive been visiting them on their website while Im waiting hehe. I liked the way the courtsa are layed out. They go
King of (element)
Queen of (suit)
(season) warrior
and elemental
or at least thats what i thought, when looking today i noticed that only wands and swords are layed that way. Cups and Pentacles are
King of (season)
Queen of (suit)
(element) Warrior
and elemental
reversing the attributes of the king and the warrior. Does anyone know why? I can think of a few possible reasons but i was wondering if anyone actually knew, and why those particular suits?

2 things come to mind right away.
1. pentacles and cups are often associated with femaleness.
2. Ever noticed how the 10 of p and c are
usually thought of as cheery and w and s 10's tend to be stressful?
3.And I'll add, in the p and c the most active court is the knight. In the s and w the king is stronger than in c and p in many deck interpretations. This deck designer may hold these views as leading to an important difference.

Thanks those are some great insights :)
I thought it might have to do with the Warrior eventually becoming a King in mythology, often with him being a Warrior in Spiring and Summer and King in Fall and Winter, kind of a changing cycles thing.
Maybe the book will tell me when i get it :)
