My World Spirit arrived!

I am just so thrilled! It took a long time in coming (long story - Tarot Totes saved the day!), but is definitely worth it. I love the deck. I plan on curling up with the book this evening and really reading it (love these little boxed sets) - after soccer practice (in 92 temps - ugh). I did a new card spread and got: 1 - What will you teach me? :T8P 2 - What do I need to do? :TJUDG 3 - What will our relationship be like? :T7P This will be a good learning deck for me :T8P and will teach me to pay careful attention to detail. :TJUDG says to open my eyes and experience a new way at looking at things. As for our relationship, :T7P suggests a good, growing, fertile partnership. We definitely mesh together nicely! Thanks to my fellow (Keslynn, Rhiannon, Crystalmynx) for suggesting this deck. :TCHAR Starfish

Great, Starfish! So glad you finally got it! I'd like to invite you to check out my interps. that I've posted in the General Study Group forum and let me know if you have anything else to add. This deck is one that I have sort of a "difficult" relationship with, and that's why I started the group, to help myself work through our "issues". LOL Looking forward to hearing more about what you think of this deck. R :)

Hooray for you. I`m really glad that your World Spirit has finally arrived, I`m sure you`ll find it was worth the wait. Cool new deck spread. The little book which goes with this book is really good and small enough to keep with your deck. I love this deck, I think it`s the one which has really made tarot `click` with me. Congrats Starfishie :) ... it is a nice mutlicultural deck. I have not worked with mine yet (big surprise) but I plan to one of these days *LOL*

Jewel I totally agree that you really need to work with this deck I LOVE it. I almost bought its Spanish counterpart because I had to have this deck and hadn't found the English one yet.

Congrats, Starfish! I'm so glad that Tarot Totes came through for you after the Borders disappointment. I'm also excessively glad that you love the deck. The book was good but it didn't really explain all the symbolism on the cards. However, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. So far, I've been doing okay thinking of my own meanings for the various things. It probably is also helping the deck bonding process. Or at least it did! I'm pretty sure that I'm Krazy Glued to it now as far as bonding goes. ;) I haven't been able to pick up my cards as much lately due to my life craziness but this thread is giving me a hankering for my good old World Spirit.
