Hello! My husband won a $100 gift certificate for a bookstore and let me use it to buy decks!!! What a sweetie, he's not really much of a book reader and knows how much I love new tarot decks. I got: Art Nouveau (Matt Myers) and Ancient Egyptian and have Nefertari's Tarot and Angel Blessings Cards (Kimberly Marooney) on order. I love the Art Nouveau and Ancient Egyptian decks. I will post my new deck spreads later. I'm now anxious to get Nefertari's Tarot and Angel Blessings. I know I have a special hubby!!!!

Now, please, momof3girls, when are you quite finished with that? First off, you COMPLETELY IGNORED our Trading offers. I am not saying you had to keep in bigger consideration my offer rather than the others, at all! And then you come around again, and keep teasing us. Are you sure that is legitimate? And, mainly, FAIR? How long are we gonna stand that? How much more does your evil soul demand of unconditional envy? *LOL*
How can you possibly keep such a blessing to yourself? That's so possibly egotistical! As a member of these boards Ican't let this go on. And since I have gone through my first trade, I feel ready as well.
My Trading list: *LOL*
- Neapolitan Pizza Boy: mint conditions. Casual look, dinamic, funny. Hairy chest, positive to waxing in case. Loves kids, pets, and good food.
- Medicine School Specializatin Student: unused. Distinct and Academic, intellectual type. Cute, gentle and refined in movements. Available, and a doctor can always come in handy.
I am expecting a Pm, or an e-mail. Or a responce in every form.
In the meantime I'll be on the hunt as well... What is the closest country where gay man can get married? France? Germany? Or do I have toget to Nederlands for that? *LOL*
Where's Maan when I need her? And Jewel???
- EDITED TO ADD: I want a man like that too!!! *LOL*

Hi sweet hairy-chested youngster,
Put momof3's hubby in your backpack and move to Germany, there you are allowed to marry (hey, Maan, stop luring Pollux away!).

I am envious over the Nefertari that you will shortly receive. I have been coveting it for some time...

Momof3girls, I am so jealous! I hope I find a man like that someday! Congrats on your new decks. I'm sure you will enjoy them immensely. I've been wanting the Ancient Egyptian for a while now.

mom,
your hubby's gift sounds a like some of my husband's gifts. he knows i love fresh flowers and any kind of gift. he loves entering sweepstakes and contests. i can't even remember the number of gifts i've gotten over the years that he won in some contest. not that i don't appreciate it--i definitely do! for example, last christmas he kept entering this contest at a local florist/gift shop. he won twice which was enough for me to get a dozen fresh red roses, a poinsettia and a ceramic angel. i was particularly grateful b/c i wouldn't have had nearly as nice a christmas w/o the contest winnings!
now if i can only find some bookstore contests for him to enter...truth has begun elaborate plotting and scheming... ;)
no, pollux, don't even ask! LOL ;)

ROFLMAO the only thing that makes me weaken any on keeping my hubby is 2 new neferteri decks! you're right, too. the cats do need their own deck. they like mine a little too much for my comfort level.
he does have a single brother but he is very introverted. i've known him 14 years and in all that time he's only said more than a word or 2 at most twice. i don't think he'd be much fun for a fun loving guy like you, pollux.

Congratulations, M3G - on the hubby and the decks! I think you might struggle to hang onto both at this rate!!!
I've got the AET which I adore (so much so that I've been to replace my stolen one before the insurance company authorised it) and it's inspired me to read up on Egyptian myths and legends which I didn't know much about before. I hope you love it as much as I do. I find it so clear and the colours so vibrant.
I've also got the Nefertari and you may have seen other threads on this one. I know Truth loves hers and I can understand that - in fact, I was hoping I'd feel the same about mine - but I have decided it thinks it's "special". Any other deck and I'm away - always taking longer than intended. If a client chooses the Nefertari I invariably have to give up and send the client onto someone else. I have recently given it a good talking to - taking it right back to the "new deck" spread where it made it plain it only intends to talk to me - the first two cards showed couples exclusively interested in each other and the third was an enthroned king in isolation! It obviously hasn't forgotten it's royal connections! Interestingly, a medium recently told me I'd got Nefertiti standing behind me (when the Nefertari deck was in my bag where I'd dumped it after another dismal display). Maybe he misheard and went with a name everybody knows (I certainly hadn't heard of Nefertari before coming across the deck) or maybe it really was Nefertiti and Nefertari was jealous?! Maybe they've got some sort of rivalry going on in the afterlife (I don't think they knew each other "down here") and it's Nefertiti who's blocking me? ;-)
Anyway - I'm sure you'll have many happy hours with all your new acquisitions. Be careful not to get too engrossed - you might surface to find your hubby has been kidnapped and the ransom demands specifies you have to take all your decks to a phone box where you will be given instructions.......!

my nefertari is a private and introverted, too. she only wants to speak to me but did relent in a very quiet house of a friend. she is also something of an expert on egypt. nefertari really took to her. i took this as a sign of humility instead of arrogance. perhaps your deck is shy of the public eye. royalty of pharoah's house generally didn't mix w/ commoners so that could be part of the problem. another thing is that i have found that nefertari likes to do tape recorded readings that i mail to the querent. she reads quite well for me as long as i respect her need for privacy. she also has her own private tarot totes bag--pharoah's house which she is willing to share w/ reflection twin sister sphynx. i think scolding nefertari will only make her more stubborn she will have things her way. she outranks us commoners! she might be dead(Bast bless her) but her spirit lives on!
if you and your nefertari wish to seek serious counseling, louisQ, let me know and i'll work you in w/ my other tarot counseling sessions. card relationships are very important you know! ;) })

Hi! I got my Nefertari today. I love this deck. I agree with you LouiQ about the AET and both these deck now having me wanting to learn more about Egyptian history. They are both gorgeous decks. I especially love all the gold foil on the Nefertari. I will do a new deck spread with the Nefertari soon and post it here. I wonder if mine will want to be a personal deck just for me too.

Here I am Pollux! so you are trading a Napolitan Pizza Boy and a Medicine School Specialization Student? hmmmm ... I doubt my soon to be hubby would allow me to make that trade ;P ... and since this thread seems to be about making everyone love one's hubby or almost hubby let me add that mine got me the Tarot Ambre ~evil grin~
