Ok, there are my latest aquisitions: The Tarot Balbi is still shrinkwrapped so I had no chanche to look at all cards (not possible here) but I think those among you who love the Physic family cards will love this one, too.
The Ravenswood Eastern is an oriental inspired black and white one (I guess presumed to colour it). Maybe I will copy this one and colour the copies but leave the original black and white.

I really like the CPF, but the Balbi to me is just ... UGH! *LOL*
There is so much symbolism, especially in colours, and I really appreciate it in decks... But the cards are so ugly! The Emperor completely puts me off...
This Italian tarot-artist should learn from your German fellows, Valky... ;)

I still have had no chance to unwrapp the Balbi ( I will peel it this evening slowly out of the tranparent foil with teasing, caressing fingers, ohhh, ahhhh.....) so I could only have a glimpse at the Fool card and this brought somehow the CPF to my mind).

By an amazing chance the Tarot Balbi has just come into my possession.
I'd hate to say the price, but lunch for two costs more...
The original box (somewhat tattered) came with it, and I'm still smiling!

follow the simple edict, "for it to be true at all, it has to all be true."
Kabbalah and Tarot can be seen as sharing similar attributes,
but what has been fashioned so far, in order to accommodate the
wishes of a few, is basically untenable. If one truly follows what is
clearly intended, by both Tarot and Kabbalah, then you will have:
Wands of Fire
Cups of Air
Swords of Water
Coins of Earth
The secret may be whether or not one is willing to seek the key.
