Anyone reading with Tarot of the Master?

A few months back I acquired the beautiful Tarot of the Master deck. The art is beautiful, and the deck really conveys that wonderful "old world" fee. I would love to use the deck, but thus far have found it almost impossible to read with. The cards have the prompter words in five languages appear vertically on the left side of the cards. You would think that this would help, but it really doesn't. Just the opposite...It seems to have added to my confusion. Most of the time these prompter words are utterly vague. Examples of some
examles of the prompter words are: "order", "poem", "depiction", "multiplicity". The cards are pips and most of the symbols used stray pretty far from any other deck I've worked with previously. Has anyone out there successfully read with this deck? Also, are there any books out there written on this deck? I'd appreciate any responses.

Hi, Spookaloosis --
There aren't any books written for this deck. There are a few different approaches you could use. First, I'd suggest ignoring the words which Lo Scarabeo printed on the cards. Next, you could decide too: 1) Use the symbolism on the cards (since the Tarot of the Master does have specific pictures on each card) to make up a meaning for each card yourself; 2) use Rider-Waite-type meanings, which are easy to find (you could check Thirteen's Tarot Basics in the Text Section of Aeclectic); or 3) use a system of meanings made up of suit meanings combined with number meanings, for instance the 4 of Swords' meaning would be created by combining the numerological meaning of the number 4 with the meaning of the suit of Swords. There are several threads in the Using Tarot Cards forum that discuss different numerological keyword systems for the numbers -- try doing a search for "non-illustrated" or "pip".
Hope this helps --
Lee :)
