Thanks to Jeannette and Lori from Tarot Garden, I now have another deck to my collection. Strange as it may seem, it is a Marseille!
This deck, the Convos, is not to be confused with the Conver.
A quick look through the deck shows that the colours/print has been 'cleaned', though some of the outlines have, it seems, been somewhat caricatured in the process.
The deck has retained no numeration for the Fool, and no name for XIII - but all titles have otherwise been given their English names (interestingly, the Papess has been renamed the high Priestess, and VI has been correctly translated as the Lover (singular).
My biggest disappointment is that the illustrator saw fit to place his or her initials on each and every card (OS) - definitely taking it away from the anonymity of mediaeval tradition. I guess a small price to pay for a deck which will provide me, I am sure, with years of added reflections.

You mean that the Conver is NOT the same as the Convos!?! Damn! Just when I thought I had it all figured out!

Congrats on your new deck, jmd!
Thanks to you and some others, I'll probably be getting a Marseilles deck when I next get a little money saved up. I was looking at the Fournier. However, I haven't decided for sure yet. Do you have a link with some of the images from this deck so we tarot-holics can have a gander?

And you can see Jeannette's scans of the Convos by going to Tarot Garden and searching for "Convos." I've tried to link to it, but it's beyond my powers. :)

Lee:
Your previous link to the Tarot Garden website pictures was essentially correct; you simply omitted the "c" from the "/m-decks/" portion of the link URL (I'd quickly checked it earlier today, but didn't have time to post a reply with the info at the time).
But you can always link to any Tarot Garden entry using the following format:
http://www.tarotgarden.com/database/dbsearchengine.php?view_title=<>
Where <> is a word in the deck title that isolates the entry you want to view. So, for the Convos, this link would work:
http://www.tarotgarden.com/database/dbsearchengine.php?view_title=convos
And folks can click here to access the actual entry.
Thanks again for the mention!

Thanks so much, Lee and Jeannette! You guys are true enablers for this girl's tarotholic habit, but I'm not looking to recover anytime soon! Thanks again! :*
