(sigh)
Just added two Halloween decks (yes, two! One for Landon and one for me), Napo, the Golden Tarot of Tsar, and a Rumi card set to our growing list.
Need to take a breather and get know these new additions, but Tarot de Paris is calling!
Oh! I forgot to add my Tarot for Cats!

Yay!!! Another person that has the Napo (there doesn't seem to be many that own that deck). I love the colors and the style of the artwork!
Congratulations on your new decks!

Sad to say Maan, I haven't spent anytime with it. I've looked through it, but haven't done a new deck spread with it or even shuffled it!
But can you blame me? I just got the Halloween deck at the same time and it is October after all! :)
As far as the artwork goes on the Napo, it's really lovely. Nice colors, imaginative, abstract style. I love the water-color look to it. Landon thought it looked a tiny bit like the Thoth (I can see that). It reminds me more of Peter Maxx though.
Keywords seem to be Thoth-ish combined with recognizable RW imagery. I think it is definately a deck I could read with and not just an art deck (which the Golden Tarot of the Tsar may be).
My first impressions are that it is a pretty fun deck to look at! :)

As you should be, Pentunen! ;) It is a great deck.
I am now fan of Kipling West. Sure, it's cute, but she packs plenty of great symbolism into her images. I love the World card!
I got it off of eBay for about $24 including shipping, and felt I got a pretty good value on it.
I had checked secondary prices on Amazon and Half, and about choked at some of the prices being asked. So, off to eBay. And voila! :)
I'm very happy to get a hold of this deck. I do wish it had minors though... It might be my main reading deck then!

I have sworn by my Halloween deck since I got it, and despite the suits being different from what we're all used to, I cannot stress enough how easy it is to read with. Now if only I could find the Amazing Fortune Telling Cards (again, yeah, right!) -- which is actually a majors-only deck featuring the most wonderful animals you'd care to meet...
I have the Napo and have read with it a couple of times. It seems perfectly friendly for reading. And it is so unique and striking.

It is very readable.
One thing that I do like about the change of suits, is how they (the suit icons) can interact with the card image, rather than just sort of being there.
The ghosts and imps definately have opinions about what is happening in the scene. The Four of Ghosts (my daily card today) are trying so hard to please and take care of the person or at least, that is one possible take on the scene.
The pumpkins growing on the bushes of the Seven of Pumpkins is more visually smooth than having the pentacles stuck onto the plant.
It is a nice opition to have. :)
I just learned about the Amazing Fortune-Telling Book last night. Now I need to track those cards down too! ;)

I just got this OOP book and majors deck today.
It was a children's book, but how could I resist Kipling West's wonderful animal tarot included with it. Especially with my power animals as the Hierophant (elephant....soul/personality card) and as Justice (owl....and I'm a Libra).
I lucked into a really great deal (less than original price), and it was still sealed. Now, I'm torn about whether or not to punch out the cards. Probably will, seeing how I did take it out of it's wrapping.
I think I've got all her commercially produced tarot decks now. There are only three, right? :)

They sound lovely Riversea! The review of The Amazing Fortunetelling Book on art of tarot says the fool is an otter. I live with a ferret, which is a close relative, so can appreciate that! Rumi cards sound like a good thing also, is it like the Rumi calendars that have been out the last few years?

I just noticed this part of your post, riversea... How would you feel about sharing this New Deck Spread in the Using Tarot forum? I for one would be so grateful. I've got so many decks that I've never read with yet... :| :|
