I got my Halloween deck three weeks ago and I've been reading with it for a few weeks now. I really love this deck ! It speaks to me so clearly, it is an honest deck that tells you what is wrong but it does so with a great deal of humour as well :D
And it is just so much fun to see how the rider-waite symbols are turned into halloween symbols.
I don't think this is a good deck for meditation though ;) but I have other beautiful decks for that.

one of the fun things about this deck is following the black cat thru all the cards. it brings out the fun stuff about halloween w/o being scarey. i suppose you could meditate on it if you wanted to improve your sense of humor!

I love the Halloween Tarot too! It's such a great deck. In fact, I'm using it to do shadow work. I chose it because it shows potentially dark things in a nonthreatening way. At the same time, the symbolism is fairly deep if you look closely instead of shrugging it off as a fluffy deck.

I love this deck!! I got this a month or so ago, completely on a whim(cuz so many people here raved about it!) and I am not sorry that I got it! I couldn't get over the amount of RWS symbolism present on the cards! Definately worth it!
})I think that Maan should get it!!!})

It was the first deck I bought Starr so many years ago.
It still sits, dust covered on the bookshelf…unshuffled…with it’s LWB (untorched – Hey I wouldn’t torch another’s LWB, I’m not a complete barbarian).
Perhaps someday when she outgrows her RW and Medieval Scapini…she will pick it up once again in those Elvin fingers and…

. . . Yes, a black, cute, little cuddly kitty cat is in ALL the cards, Maan. Fuzzy and sweet, trick or treat. Meow.

How could you have so many decks and miss this one? Some of the cards like the 9 of ghosts seem short on symbolds but others are just packed to the gills err eye holes. }) In spite of its playful look, it is a serious deck. I think I'm going to bring it up to work and set it out on the table now that the season is ripe.
