I was looking through the exhaustive list of Tarot decks in the decks page and came across the Victoria Regina deck. I was really drawn to it. The engravings look fabulous. I immediately ordered if off Amazon. Can any of you weigh in with your opinion on, experience with the deck. My experience pretty much matches the number of posts to this forum. I am currently using the Mythic Deck, which I enjoy very much but I thought it was time to experiment. Comments? Thanks in advance.

A lot of people really liked this one, but I personally found it disturbing for some reason. It's been traded off for a while (thank goodness). Then again, I'm the odd one that way. ;)
The cards themselves are really high quality, printed on good stock, and seem to be sturdy. They are a little big and hard to shuffle. The engravings are absolutely wonderful, and have been put together in a nearly seamless collage.
The book is one of the best accompanying a deck that I've ever come across (which isn't saying much). It's laid out well, with tons of information, and a few good, unique spreads in the back.
It's really a good deck for a lot of people. You'll probably get good use out of it.

My apologies, Faunabay! Thanks for digging up the thread. The more I read about this deck, the more I can't wait until it arrives.

Oooh, I'm so glad this was brought up! I'm crazy about the Victorian era, and I've been itching to buy a new deck. The preview pictures look gorgeous and genuinely different. Yay, and thanks to Lawguy!

I LOVE this deck! It is fast becoming my primary reading deck. I find it very accurate and beautiful. I'm sure that you will like it too :) It is a superb set, even comes with a velvet tarot bag!
Cheers
