who's got the italian version of this deck that I could look at? I'm thinking of buying this one but NOT the engish version. I just need some different opinions about thsi deck coz i don't think i like it enough to buy it. thanks.

I've a French version of the deck, which used to be the only one. It was my first deck, though it wouldn't be my best recommendation if it's your first traditional deck.

yeah...thought so. I've got the classical tarot by lo scarabeo, which is beautiful...in comparison, the Swiss deck seems to look good regarding the major arcana only. It's not as if i'll use the minor arcana, but i'd like my deck to look great 100% instead of those boring illustrations. *sigh*

If you're interested, here's a side-by-side comparison of the German and Italian editions that I've got on hand:

Other than the fact that titles are in German, the German edition conforms stylistically to the French and English versions I've seen. As you will see from the scanned samples, the titles are reversed (top/bottom) on the majors in the Italian edition, and have been completely removed from the court cards.
