I visited a 'Natural Health and Healing' fayre that just so happened to be held in my Uni, with a couple of friends, and shoudl so NOT have taken any money with me! After walking around for about half an hour, I found a stall selling loads of decks that I really really wanted... I Am One, Tarot of Hellen, Winged Spirit, etc... And just as I was reaching for the I Am One, the Templar Tarot literally jumped out at me and screamed BUY ME! BUY ME! FOR GOODNESS SAKE BUY ME NOW!!!!!!!!!! So there I was, with one of the most difficult choices I have made in a long time, 'I Am One, or Templar?' I spent around 10 minutes, trying to make the decision, and in the end, went for the Templar Tarot, cuz I've wanted that one for longer...
Ripping it out of the box immediately, I couldn't help but gasp... Wow! The artwork is stunning and, something you don't often see in decks, original... The deck isn't at all traditional, but that, in my opinion, is a good thing for a collector... I even feel I could actually read with this deck.
My suggestion to everybody is to go buy this deck NOW NOW NOW! You won't regret it at all...

Hi Kiama, I think you made a great decision! I have both the I Am One and the Templar and of the 2 I prefer the Templar. The draw back to the I am one is that the pictures are framed and there is quite a bit of writing on them that makes the images smaller ... in contrast the Templar has full card sized images and no borders.
Kaz and I studied this deck for a while in conjunction with 78 Degrees of Wisdom and that was an awsome experience. The Templar is indeed a very very interesting deck. I hope you really enjoy it!
The Winged Spirit is also beautiful. I love the clean art in it. It is not cluttered at all. I recommend this one too.
The Tarot of Hellen ... that is one I have also had my eye on for quite some time. If you get it please do share!

i have both the templar and the i am one deck. templar is definitely the best. you made the right decision. i think you would be disappointed in the other deck. your money is tight these days so picking the best decks are important for you. templar contains such intensity and the ideas that are all the creator's unlike the i am one deck. it appears ideas for this deck may have started with someone else's work who was not credited. puts a tarnish on it. :(
what do you think of the high priestess in templar, kiama? i find it stunning! some ppl find this deck rather dark but i don't. it is rather strange with all the skeletons and broken angels. for me the strangeness adds to its charm. the colors are so rich. i wish i could paint like that!

Truthsayer I am with you on this one. If you have the time to really study it there is a lot there. I really need to resume my studies with Kaz.

Truth: The HPS card was the card that made me buy this deck! All my life i have had a weird connection to the Magdalena and all the theries surrounding her... So to see hre as hte High priestess really pleased me.
