Hi!!
Saw this deck and fall in love with it!
Does anyone has this deck??
Are the cards flimsy?
I have written to the Illustrator/seller asking about the shipping fees.So before I decide, I would like to hear from owners of the deck. Thanks! :)

Joywalker,
I have the Hello Kitty Tarot. The cards are on very thin cardstock, actually, just a medium weight paper. But....they are sssooo well done! I have thought about laminating them but I don't want to risk ruining them! So, they mainly just sit in my collection. I do take them out from time to time to look at them and I see something new all the time. I just don't feel comfortable with suffling them. For me they were still well worth the money but I would have gladly paid a bit more for a better quality if I would have been given the option.

Thanks Raeanne!
For those who are interested, this is the info I've got from Mr Joe:
"It doesn't come in a box; there is a top and bottom cover card that I rubber-band around them to protect them during shipping, but that's about it. I've never been able to find mass-produced boxes that were the right size at any reasonable price for the number of sets I produce. I made my own little box for my set.
The cards are uncoated 90# white card stock, so you -may- want to laminate them. I didn't laminate mine because I found that even the thinnest laminate made the cards too thick, besides greatly increasing the time and cost of production. Also, the heavy paper I use I have found to be very durable and has held up to repeated use for several years. I know one or two people have laminated their decks, but I don't consider it necessary."
I've checked the shipping cost and together with the deck,it will cost me $36!!Hmm...Think I'll leave it in my wishlist for the moment. :D

Well... I looked at the sample cards on A.T. and Tarot Garden... this deck is certainly different. It is a little too "sweet" for my taste. I think using this deck would be like eating too much baklava... I'd gag from the sweetness... }) However... I think my sister would absolutely LOVE it.

I got Hello,(Kitty) Tarot in the mail today! I went to Joe Rosales (the author) website and ordered directly from him. 15 dollars and no shipping costs in the US. He even signed the deck for me!
Yes the cardstock is thin, but I won't read with this deck. It is more of a collectors deck. I absolutely love it, it's adorable!

we talked a bit about it at the Mass Tarot Group this Saturday. I don't think it's as sweet as some people think. It's very tongue in cheek, and the characters look like they are putting on a play about tarot.
Check out the cards you usually consider very serious, and you'll find the characters putting on very serious little faces, etc.
It's very cool, and I may laminate mine.
You can't beat the price in the US.
