Mythic Tarot

I just bought the Mythic tarot. It was NOT among the ones I intended to buy, but it certainly is the one I needed. I shuffled, cut, and did a three card Past, present, and Future spread just to take them for a test drive and they gave me the most accurate reading yet on my current "battle with reality" situation. This deck, though, made me realize my strengths. This simple 3 card spread helped me to realize that I had the strength, and the self-discipline to make the necessary corrections to build future dreams and hope on. Heracles and the Nemean lion--- Strength, was so to the point. This card basically read as: You have the strength of the lion, but you also have the raging beast and in order to use the strength you must reign in the beast. That's where Heracles comes into the picture. After that first reading I put the deck away, but I kept receiving insights about my situation based on that spread. It was AWESOME !!!!!! I also like that it gives you some of the background of the characters on the cards, which can also give more insight into a situation. Just wanted to share my success in choosing deck #5!!!!!!

Congratulations on the new deck Shadow Wolf! Sounds like one you have really connected with. This is a deck I've looked at several times for my next deck but always put off.... Maybe it's time to look at it again.

I absolutely got Tarot using the Mythic deck..Love the book..th book is totally to me..what makes this deck great..Of course i have traded it off..because i have moved on..but great find Shadow..

I recently bought this deck and I agree that the use of Greek myths does work very well with the meanings of the cards. It`s one of those decks that I haven`t got around to actually using yet although I`m really enjoying reading the book. Glad to see you`ve found a deck you can connect with Shadow Wolf. Glad you found a deck to connect with. The stories in the minors did so help me remember many minors I was just not connecting with.

my mother uses the mythic tarot and has for a couple of years. the first time i saw her use it, she started and stumbled a lot. the deck and she didn't work well together. this past weekend she took them out again. remember i haven't seen them in 2 years. i swear it looked like a different deck. they seemed to postively glow! colors that i never noticed before were rich and lustrous. she gave me a mythic deck back when she got hers. i never felt connected with it and have never used it other than to look at the cards and skim the book. my interest in this deck has been re-awakened to say the least. i hope to get them out again in the next few days. i know i missed out on something with this deck somehow now! what a relief i didn't trade them!!
