Should I be considering this deck as a possible future purchase ?
Is it difficult to work with ?
I've always been kinda' drawn to things that break out of the mold.
Enlighten me !!!!!!

Been a lot of discussions about this deck. Here's a synopsis of the pros and cons:
Pros: Hey, it's a beautiful deck, no doubt about it. Very lovely imagry, nice, rich earthy colors. Interesting symbolism (like badgers, moths, holly leaves, etc.). Biggest pro--if you're pagan, it's very much a deck for you. Very pagan in symbolism, imagry and ideas.
Cons: Three cons:
1) The images are framed--this gives them a "window" appearence. Now you may not find this a "con," but some folk fill the cards are a little cold and distant because of this. They feel as if they're gazing through a stone window rather than being "THERE" in the picture.
2) Big cards, hard to shuffle.
3) The biggest problem that some folk have is that cards in this deck are not the same as most Rider decks--the Magician/Hierophant have been switched in position and re-named (Shaman--Magician/High Priest-Hierophant). Other major arcana cards are missing entirely or altered significantly (the "Web" instead of "Justice" for example). Again, you might not find this a "con" but some folk do.
I think that's about it. Best thing to do, find a store that has the deck and check it out in person.

Hi, Shadow Wolf, if you look at the top of the Tarot Decks Forum you'll find a thread called "Partial Table of Contents," and in there you'll see several decks in alphabetical order, including the Sacred Circle, with all the threads about that deck. There's lots on the Sacred Circle. Have fun! :)
