We seem to be doing quite a few lists lately. So I have one more to think about!! :D
What are the top 3 decks - tarot or oracle - (plus or minus a few) that you actually USE the most - not just look at and drool??? ROFL
Here are mine:
1. Faeries Oracle
2. Camion Marseilles
3. Healing with the Angels/Faires (this is really two, but I always use them together ROFL)
There are others I use off and on but these are the ones I use most frequently. These are the ones I can fall back on - one of these will always work for me no matter what. My buddies!! :D

The three I use the most:-
1. Thoth
2. Thoth (maybe Tarot of Sephiroth, we'll talk more about that later Faunabay :) )
3. Thoth (maybe Robin Wood when I get it thank you Meewah)
I have so many decks in the drawer of my altar, but the only one I actually use is ..... you guessed it....Thoth. Hhmmm maybe it's time to do a clear away.....

Hmmm. This is a hard one for me since I acquire lovely new decks at great rates of speed. However, there are a few old faithfuls that I love and will go back to again and again.
1. World Spirit
2. Nigel Jackson
3. Sacred Circle (oddly enough. I have some trouble reading with it, but I find myself using it a lot for one card draws)
That's it for now, though I'll probably have to come and change my listing. *lol* I have many other decks that I want to give some love to.

The Marseille - for me? Whatever gave anyone that impression - am I that predictable:):):)?1 - Schaffhouse (published as 'Classic' by US Games);
2 - various Marseilles decks , but especially: - a - by Conver ;
- b - by Camoin ; and now also
- c - by Hadar ;
3 - Waite/Colman-Smith (usually with BOTA concurrently). I suppose it is a somewhat difficult question to answer with regards to 'usage', for I presume this includes not only divinatory uses, but also meditative and study usage.
But seriously, I suppose I still read more with the Schaffhouse than any other deck, but I study and handle the various Marseilles decks more than any other. I should point out, for those who do not have the pleasure of owning one, that the Schaffhouse is, in the eyes of many, but a variation on the Marseille.

1. Phantasmagoric Theater
2. Tarot of the Imagination
3. Faeries' Oracle
lol I sat here for a few minutes trying to figure out which deck to exchange with the Vertigo Tarot... since I already listed 3! I guess I kind of slid it in anyway though huh?!? lol

First two are easy:
Halloween tarot and Robin Wood.
I don't have a fixed number three, sometimes I use the shapeshifter, sometimes the arthurian or the greenwood, or an oracle deck even.
Think I used the druid animal oracle most lately... but number three could just be anything that takes my fancy at the moment.

Kind of hard to list your 3 most used decks when you only have 4! LOL
So in order of usage...
1. Legend; Arthurian Tarot (This is my favorite, the one I use for most readings, the one I'm connected to.)
2. Sacred Circle (I love this deck but I'm finding I read better with more detailed cards.)
3. Universal Waite (I bought this deck for my daughter and now I use it as a learning tool.)
4. Wild Spirit (I just got this deck two days ago. Given time it will probably move up to the number 2 position.)

I feel soooo left out! :D I would think I had shouted [/i] often enough to be somewhat predictable... LOL }) (I know I've typed it enough to know how to get the "ö" character without having to bring up the windows character map anyway... ;) )
The decks I use the most...
1) The Röhrig Tarot
2) Rider-Waite
3) - this is kind of a toss-up right now between The Dragon Tarot (recently received from MattDouglas - thanks!) and The Unicorn Tarot.

Looked this one up on Tarot Garden. I believe this would be a Thoth bathed (er... BASED) deck? I especially like the Knight of Flames (I think that's what "Ritter der Flammen" would be)... he looks like Jim Morrison (The Doors). Thanks for mentioning the Ananda Tarot Diana.

Yeah Yeah Yeah!!!! I am shocked you did not just go ahead and list my 3 decks and save me the time ~giggles~ ...
1. Faeries Oracle (I use this one every day)
2. Fairy Ring Oracle
3. Cosmic Tribe
Due to time constraints my free time has been severly limited so I have been mainly working with the Faeries (both oracles) ... but this week I think the CT and 78 Degrees of wisdom and I will be spending some quality time together. I owe some major homework to the 78 Degegrees of Wisdom Study Group so it is time to catch up.
Okies I was feeling guilty and had to come edit this post ...
I feel that like listing the oracles is cheating since this is a tarot deck forum so, oracles aside, here are the top 3 tarot decks I use ~giggles~ (I knew I'd find a way around the 3 deck restriction ;))
1. COSMIC TRIBE :D (rules!!!)
2. The Healing Tarot (good for Shadow Work & Self Discovery)
3. Shining Tribe (ugly, but I am really enjoying working with it as I read Forest of Souls ... I am getting all interested in the symbolism of the deck at this time)

This is such a difficult question because my preferences are so fluid!
Here's the best I can do (and I'll still have to cheat a little):
1. Various non-illustrated decks (I like to switch between Camoin Marseilles, Prediction Tarot, and Ancient Italian Tarot)
2. World Spirit (I've had this for a while and only just today am becoming enamored of it)
3. Illuminated Tarot

1. hanson-roberts
2. nefertari --you were right about this one.
3. inner child
b/c one of the cats likes to munch on my cards i only read nefertari with doors closed.
i'm liking the animal wisdom cards enough that they might be in the top 3 one day. just got to figure out how to get around the cards with cat teeth marks. same with the tarot classic. i use the fairy oracle a lot, too.

The decks I use most for reading are:
1. My filthy old Rider-Waite-Smith, it is the non-coated one and many years old. Time to replace this, maybe with the Universal Waite.
2. Silver Mantegna. I haven't learned what every symbol in the deck is supposed to mean, but somehow it works.
I sometimes have cards from the Deva deck or the Aquarian out where I can see them, to bring in the energy of the card, but the RWS is the only one I use for meditation. Thoth stays in the box.

Difficult question... But I give it a go:
1) Robin Wood
2) Rider Wait
3) Faeries Oracle or Tarot Nova or Golden Dawn magical or Herbal Tarot ..........
Hmm, the Oswald Wirth Deck has strong potential to get into place 2 or 3 as soon as I get the book 'Tarot of the Magicians'.
Uuuhh, and the Brotherhood of Light will be on the way to me soon - so that has a very good chance to get into at least positon 3.
Hehehe - You should never ask a Gemini such a question....

my three decks:
1. faeries oracle (froud)
2. phantasmagoric theater tarot
3. osho zen tarot
the faeries: i use them on a daily base, i just adore them
the other two on a regulary base...the phantasmagoric was 'the one'-tarot deck that finally clicked with me after a long search, it works so well, and my osho: it's so clear and always dead on ;) it gives me an other perspective...
love all three of them, they are my little treasures :)
(...the only one that i really really want next to them is the mary-el tarot...)

You just hit me strong with the latter... Never ever occurred to me. What a great idea! As it was such a special and extra-ordibary reading in Italian, I can't but wonder what it must be like in English. Let's see if I could use one of my decks for that too... #1 Secret Tarots - it really speaks to me and I can intuit quite a bit from the images. I know a lot of folks think that the Lo Scarabeo decks are shallow but I feel this one is an exception
#2 The New Palladini - I use this one when I want something a little more traditional but don't want to hit the Waite. I love teh jewel-like colors.
#3 The Faerie's Oracle (Froud) Ok it's not a tarot deck but I use it as the second opinion reading after I do a Tarot reading.

Cosmic Tarot---teh prince of pentacle and the prince of cups both look like me.
Shapeshifter Tarot---the Lovers card has the firebird of russia and the phoenix rising, both are symbolic of my universal ancestory and birthdate (June20 was when teh Great Seal of America was approved, the phoenix was an archetype for eagle, and the duality is Gemini), the sun card looks like one of my friends.
Osho Zen---i love to make sentences out of this deck, very direct and powerful. the extra card makes the deck unusual in many ways, the power of zen is infused with the meanings.
Tarot Nova--=Just have to say that Justice is balancing apples and oranges and the 5 of swords is reminicent of teh book "Of Mice and Men"
The faeries oracle is fun and the art is beautiful.
