the title of this card is "of mice and men", and that tiltle is said without words.
the figures on the card have features that are both human and mouse, the stabbing of the figure in red is bloodless be3cause of the red, the expressions of teh mice(the faces minus the human mouth) are suprise and shock, the expression of the human faces (the faces minus the big ears and mouth).
The 7 of swords in teh TArot nova deck show a rat walking on the cards, implying a "rat bastard" figure.
essentially, the use of teh rodent in these cards indicates a connection between the odd numbered cards of the same suit.
the use of small animals such as the rodential variety in a symbolic oracle of any type tends to work with the energies assoicated with the ground and the ways we can escape teh maze of life by identifying what cannot be seen from up high.
