OK folks, I've noticed that people often make referenced to beautiful people in cards. So, who are the most beautiful men and women in the cards? Not which card has the most beautiful, but taken from all the arcana and decks, which people really do it for you?

Ohh...that's a good question. I think for woman, it would have to be the High Priestess from the Ancestral Path Tarot. I think that the creator, Julia Cuccia-Watts, used herself for the basis of the card. As for man, it would have to be the Prince of Swords from the Cosmic Tribe.

Hmmm ... I think my Goddess Deck and my Cat People have some pretty lovely people depicted in it. The Queen of Wands is a lovely one in the Cat People, mainly because she reminds me of me, both in her meaning and in her physical depiction in that particular deck. :D LOL! And there are some gorgeous men too, such as the High Priest, and several of the Knights. I also like the depiction of Sarasvati in the Goddess Tarot. She's one of the Majors. :-P I think she's Wisdom (aka the High Priestess) ... but I'm not sure.

One may not have noticed, but my references to 'beautiful people' particularly in the Decameron tarot discussions is SARCASTIC! When I refer to 'beautiful people' it usually means all the males are 6-foot-2, have no body hair, small waists, large chests, and are hung. All the women look like Barbie clones with legs up to their armpits, tiny waists, and big boobs. REAL people DO NOT look like this! Maybe that's what someone should create: "The High Fashion Model Tarot", which would sell, appropriately, for $10,000.

For women: I have to say it's a tie between the High Priestess from the Ancestral Path, the Empress from the World Spirit, and the World from the World Spirit (I think she looks kinda like me, but blue!)...and also the 7 of Rainbows from the osho zen. (not indecicive or anything...) As for men, the Hottie on the Chariot in the Cosmic Tribe! Hands down! He even comes with magic mushrooms!

i love the way both men and women look in the rohrig. it's such a sensual deck. the HP and the 6 of cups come to mind in particular. the legend arthurian has beautiful ppl. my fav is nimue as the HP. i like the way the cards were done in water color. it makes the ppl look surreal and dream like. this is not a tarot deck but i really enjoy the beauty of the goddess cards by susan siddon boulet. the women are often part animal as if partially shapeshifted. boulet had such a wonderful way of creating mystical impressions. in the brian froud faery deck, i like spirit dancer. it's not so much physical beauty that captures my attention as the energy-the spirit i see existing on the card. it's like the person on the card has a life of her own.

Personally, I think I am in favour of the characters in the Rohrig deck being the most beautiful, although some in the Cosmic deck are stunning too (well, they are based on movie/TV stars). However, I am Gemini, so I am entitled to argue with myself!!!

For women: Strength, from the Ancient Italian Tarots. A nice, expressive face. For men, I dunno. wait ---- The Fool, from the Oswald Wirth deck.

What do you mean real people don't look like this. You haven't seen ME yet. JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite most beautiful naked person is the Temperance Mermaid from Gaudenzi's Enchanted Mermaid-as-Temperance Deck. Or what a minute! No!! Definitely from the Manara Deck -- The Queen of Earth, or the 10 of water.

For men I'd say either the Fool or the Magician from the Renaissance Tarot by Brian Williams and for Women I'd say the Queen of Wands from the Secret Tarots.

Hmm, some lovelies in the Manara deck, but I wouldn't agree with Firemaiden's choices. Maybe 10 of Earth, or the same girl who is 1 of Air & 1 of Water (cute face). Still, seeing the way this thread is developing, if we did have a new Cosmic deck, which film stars would fulfil which roles? Or even fictional characters? Personally, I think 007 James Bond would be The Fool, living life day-to-day, and having so many routes in front of him. Just a case of which actor.

For men there are a few I would pick *LOL*. The Chariot and Knight of Cups from the Cosmic Tribe, as well as the Magician from the Robin Wood. As for women ... guess they just don't stick in my mind like the men do *LOL*

Mmmmm. I am always entranced, transfixed, charmed silly by the Knight of Wands in the Rohrig - no simpering Prince of Cups still whimpering for Mama's teat. This guy is hardcore, and it shows. Not a beast mind you, or a punk - but still hardcore

i don't have particullary someone in my mind from my tarot decks but from my faeries oracle... i really love losgunna, the frog queen because she so fleshly and the sage not especially for his looks (but i definatly find him goodlooking) but for his soul, his eyes, his wisdom

Actually, now that you mention it, I am totally in love with Lancelot from Legend: the Arthurian Tarot. Long curly blond hair...muscular, rides a blond horse, sensitive face. Make him be alive for me now! Please!
