should i get the (mini) Nigel Jackson?

i'm really attracted to the artwork but i've decided not to get it *yet* (maybe later) since i prefer decks with more Christian backgrounds and symbolisms.... but last nite it appeared in my dream (?!)....i dreamed of putting the deck into a wooden tarot box...and was happy about it... ummm does that mean i desperately need this deck?? oh and i remember Kitty mentioned about the pocket-sized nigel Jackson, which is a great news for me since we asians have small hands heehee.....but i couldn't find it on Amazon, nor on Llewellyn's site.... can anyone tell me where i could get it?? thank you very much :D Happy Holidays, rainbow

Hi Rainbow, I do remember that someone once mentioned a smaller version of this deck, but frankly I think that person was mistaken. I believe there is only one version of this deck available, the one you see in the links Pollux gives. -- Lee

Rainbow: I believe Lee is correct. Its compact *packaging* is convenient, but both the book & the cards measure 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches. The book is a handy size for a book, but the cards are not what I would call "small" (I have small hands, too). Still, it is a lovely deck. It follows the Thoth numbering of the Major Arcana. That is, the cards of Strength & Justice are switched with Justice as 8 & Strength as 11 instead of vice versa as is in the Rider (Smith) Waite tradition. In addition, Wands are Air & Swords are Fire. Your dream suggests that this deck may be to your liking :)

I love my NJ, but it is awfully big for my tiny hands (part hobbit, you see). I wish there were a mini version! And I would say two things: 1. How much more Christian do you need? I thought the NJ was pretty Christian, and for me, a Pagan, to still like it, it was something indeed... 2. If you dream about a deck, and it's good, you should *defintely* get that deck! Obviously, your subconscious likes it! Good luck!
