Hi all; Does anyone work with the Cosmic Tarot (not Cosmic Tribe) ? I REALLY would like people's input - it looksinteresting on some sites - but odd in others? Any opinions???

I find the deck easy to read with. I really like this tarot deck, it is very nice to look at too. The illustrations are generally relevant, with meanings that I often agree with.

Yes its a nice deck with a semi sexy feel (not erotic just sexy) Its often called the movie star deck because some cards were modeled after celebrites (mostly courts I believe) It follows the Rider Waite pretty closely so its fairly easy to get used to if you know the Rider Waite style :THP

One of the features I like about this deck is that it is in some ways like a puzzle. I have not played with it in a while so I do not recall specific combinations, but in the queen of one of the suits if you look out the window you see the Lovers. Lots of little things like that. One day I hope to be in a large carpeted room where I can lay all othem out and see if indeed it is like a puzzle and if so what it looks like once assembled (card combinations). Enjoy the new deck! it is a very very nice deck.

i agree with the others. this is an interesting deck-attractive, contains its own mysteries, and easy to read. there's some similarity to the waite smith but the cosmic definitely has it's own personality. the art is well done. there is supposed to be a certain book that tells what movie star which card shows. i hope to get it eventually. if you haven't got this one, i think you should give it a chance.

ok ok, this is a sign I swear. LOL. I was checking out this deck hard core myself. Then my very religious mother in law came, so I couldn't do anything with tarot for the last 2 weeks really. Yesterday she went home, so the first day that I'm able to log back on to here, I see this post! Now I just have to get it, but I can't just yet. Thanks Dee for asking as I was wondering the same thing!

LOL - you guys are great - your opinios really are very valuable - Jewel you have helped me out in the past so I trust you - Truth same to you!! The rest of you guys thanks as well - I will go get it - it seems so fascinating to me - I was a little turned off by the whole movie star thing - but i'll get over it :)

Dee I am flattered :) ... I really hope you like it. I think you will get over the movie stars, it is not like the whole deck is about them *LOL* ... they just use their faces to go with traditional imagery and some are obscure to me at least so I never knew who they were in the first place *LOL*.
