Amerigo Folchi's 22 majors of Fererra Tarot is in this tarot puzzle for $18.00...and I didn't know it until now. I nearly fainted when I stared at the images, because this was my dearest wishlist pick.
Tarot Passages, Learning the Tarot and numerous people have reviewed this tarot puzzle. I didn't realize it was Fererra Tarot until I looked at the reviews

I'll pick up two puzzles. Buffalo Games and Amazon.com have this available right now. But if you want one and cannot get the puzzle where you are from a good distributer, please private email me

Look at this beautiful picture, especially the fair face of Venus (similar to the Schifonia Palace in Fererra Hall of Months, done in the time of Duke Borso... the placement of Venus on a float pulled by Swans. Only Folchi's image below is more beautiful:)

Now shrink this image half size on a square puzzle card and slap an arrow on her face, covering from her mouth upward. Venus became a conehead. Sadly, this was one of the online scans that made me so eager to acquire the deck...so I was so happy before, when I found the deck was part of the puzzle.
I didn't mind the silly arrow becoming part of the male Lover's hat on the Lovers card, but I do mind the arrow covering Venus' face on the Chariot card. Yes, I can use the 22 images for study and comparison. But to remember the full beauty of the card in its original form...the inner card fan in me shrieks.
The puzzle has red arrows aligned to the puzzle board as part of teaching the player to read the cards. The choice of Folchi cards was gorgeous for me, the placement of the arrows on 20 of the cards was no big deal. The cards are a bit too small. The shrunken image has a colored boarder of one quarter inch and has another quarter inch of white border that wasn't needed at all. The conehead of Venus, I believe, could have been easily avoided.
But may the idiotic placer of arrows find a big red arrow across his favorite Mona Lisa illustration. Yes, I'll write to the publisher and with luck, I'll print the above image out sometime and maybe I can shrink to the correct size...
Best wishes to Folchi fans...who might want to pass this up based on what I found out...
