Yes, Quest Tarot is actually starting to ship...the Llewellyn webtarot free reading also links to buyer information, as they distribute this tarot. Joseph Martin just posted his new url www.questtarot.com for a snapshot of all the cards.
If I were to choose between Sacred Circle and Quest, it would be depend how my collection bent was going that season. For instance, you mentioned that you have the Faery Ring oracle, you like it and you really enjoy the celtic stories. On that information alone, I might suggest Sacred Circle. But if I were to tell you of other different photomontage decks, would it be confusing or delightful to know the range out there?
Here are three suggestions, not like Sacred Circle at all:
If you want a photomontage equivalent to Tarot of Marseilles with a Renaissance feel and like the idea of all Western faces and body types, then Vision Tarot might work. Aeclectic and Tarotpassages.com have reviews...if I come across a site with all the cards, I will post for you...or hopefully, someone else will soon. Some people find the posed scenes like a Renaissance Fair scene, too arty and stagey. Others, like myself, do not mind.
If you want to try something different, futuristic and colorful archetypes in the majors, rather unusual scenic pips, then Quest might work. I haven't ordered a copy yet---in February, if I order, I can obtain a free bag from Llewellyn...or if I go to the author website, I can have a signed copy with an art print.
If you like classic sculpture, romantic Paris, a free silk scarf and favor cobalt and sapphire blues, then I recommend Tarot de Paris by J. Phillip Thomas. His website is Tarotdeparis.com and it is an independently produced tarot...Aeclectic and Tarotpassages also have information. The sculpture is from around the world, but was brought to Paris through their quest for Empire and love of art and history. I haven't written my own review yet, but I have a friendly feeling whenever I use this deck...kind of brotherly.
I know I suggested tarots. I use photographic tarots as a kind of relaxation draw (pull a card), sometimes to read for others. They look like film sets to me, so it is like watching a relaxed television show or old movie. I rarely use the Sacred Circle, except if I want to look the Faery Ring as well, just studying the stories. I like photomontage decks that aren't too bold. My preference for Celtic decks is to use them once a month, near the end or beginning.
Hope these suggestions help.
Best wishes,
Mari H.

Yep there sure is. There are two threads on the Quest Tarot in the Tarot deck forum for you to check out. The thread started by Mari has some descriptive opinions of the deck and the author/artist is answering questions about the deck there as well.

I've looked at the pictures of the Quest cards on the site. I've been looking into buying a third deck, and I'm definitely interested in the Quest Tarot. May have to wait until it's less expensive, however... we teenagers have limited resources.
I have a question about something on Martin's site, however. In the order info, it mentioned something about there being original card prints, and how there are only 240 of them. They're irreplaceable when they run out. I may be running the risk of sounding quite... stupid... but what are these original card prints? Are these from the first set of decks he'd printed out or what?

As there are three active threads on the Quest Tarot at this stage (all with current posts), and as the original post of this thread is answered both above and by the other threads, I have closed this thread.
Please refer to this thread for further discussion.
