I apologise if this has already been posted, although my search didn't find anything.
I've been looking at this deck on Ebay and I really like it - it reminds me of Dorothy Krause Simpson's unpublished Majors deck which I so want - only this has the full 78 + 1 which is designated 0, but the Fool is 22 for some odd reason.
Have only found it on ebay, unless anyone else knows different, and I don't know if it's all in Russian.
Do any of you use this deck, or know someone else that does?
Your views are appreciated
Thanks

Thanks Lee.
It seems pretty hard to get hold of now, so I'd better take my chances with the people in Estonia!
Thanks again

Where is Jeanette from Tarot Garden? I'm surprised she hasn't posted yet about the availability of this deck from her retail business.

Not to speak for Jeannette, but I believe she is out of stock and exploring reorder options.

Yup. Thanks, Lee. We just sold out of the Kluev a couple of weeks ago. I expect we'll be able to get more, but our Eastern Europe supply routes are a bit "dicey," and change frequently, so I always leave myself a little room to "hedge" on the restock possibilities.
Ophiel: Thanks for the "yoo hoo." I've been following this thread, but I have to be careful about how often I post notices about title availability at Tarot Garden. We have over 450 titles in stock at any one time, and it seems if I post too many availability notices or direct references to our website in a row, I start getting nasty emails and PMs from people accusing me of being on this forum for no other reason than to bombard the list with Tarot Garden "spam." Go figure.

Hi
Yes I did look at Tarot Garden, and saw it was out of stock with supply questions.
I really don't want to go the giving my credit card number to an eastern european email ... my inner voice was crying out "dodgy!", and "Beware" LOL, I'd rather a company gave theirs ;)

I can see how people feel that way. It is a bit tough when you have commercial interests in all of us here, when so many of us are potential customers. I owned a Yahoo group that reviewed new occult books and a bookstore owner joined, using every opportunity to promote her store. I knew the woman and her service was poor, and she was especially slow with special orders. Besides, I fancied the idea that our discussions were about the books themselves. Most of the books discussed were easily acquired.
But in your favor, Jeanette, I notice you do post quite a bit of helpful information to members of the group, and your website is great fun to romp through as you find decks few others offer for sale.

As I await my October arrival of my Millenium Tarot, I was wondering if anyone did get this deck? It's out of print at tarotgarden.com

I have mixed feelings about this - being in Central (almost Eastern) Europe! We are not all "dodgy" you know LOL. Okay, okay, I do understand honestly.
In fact I remember that one AT person did buy this deck from Estonia on ebay some time back, and it seemed fine. Nowadays Estonia is virtually in Scandanavia anyway.
Wish I could remember who it was here though - maybe they will join in this thread.
We do keep asking Russian friends to send us this deck - but they never do. I suppose if you don't know tarot it may be hard to track down.
We did RUSH off to a bookfair here in May as someone told us that a Russian seller had huge selection of tarot decks. When we got there it was true. She was Russian, and there was a good selection of decks - all of which were Lo Scarabeo!

I won the Magic/Kluev in a lot of decks on ebay, which included the Tharbon, Oreste Zevola, and Pandora's. However I have dealt with several of the sellers in Estonia, and there have been no problems.

maybe they know of it and can get it or something. they love tarot. and Lithuania is still free from the swedes, estonia is letting sweden take them over so much these days. it makes me feel sad. like i know how russia has the troops on the poland border, and belarus is hard to get things in also now. so i understand your worrys.

While I'd love to have the deck, the above posting made me laugh and laugh--with sympathy as well, for I've had my nose-pressed to-glass with eager anticipation at some shops....only to see the all-too-familiar boxes that are lovely, but just not the eager tarot end that I was anticipating.
If the Magic by Kleuv emerges again, I'd be very pleased to check it out....
Thank you for the Monday laugh!

I wanted to thank Baba Prague for the joke--she rushed off to find a Russian Tarot seller and found Italian decks instead.
Some of the bookshops that I've been to used to have interesting and different local tarot artists and some unique decks...many of them now have mass market decks from well-distributed sources.
So if I go to Southern California, the corner bookstore near my Grandmother's has the same Lo Scarabeo and U.S. Games decks as my local Borders. Once in awhile I find a local author or artist who did a tarot deck...but mostly, the familiar titles from one bookstore are also in another area hundreds of miles away.
Just a reflection of my buying experience at times.
Hope that explains my laughter.

I am one of the AT members who got the deck off ebay from Estonia. The seller's name was "kreenholm".
Kreenholm is the Mr. Nossov mentioned in the review that was linked to one of the threads on this deck.
I had a very good experience with Mr. Nossov, he was very prompt in answering e-mails, it was well packaged for the trip, AND the deck arrived actually a couple of days faster than the estimated delivery time he gave me.
He uses BidPay so secure payment is easy to arrange.
I would not hesitate to purchase from him again, if another of his offers grabs my attention.
