Beautiful artwork, labour-intensive technique, imaginative and creative concept much deserving of publication.
I wish the "big boys" at either Llewellyn, U.S. Games or Lo Scarabeo would pay attention to this one. She has a long way to go and hasn't done anything new for a while on the deck, but I've always thought it was fabulous and SO different from the usual.

I thought it was just unpublished, not unfinished...

I suppose it's just unpublished, I'm not real sure about it but I usually consider something totally finished if I'm able to buy it from a store. :)

Well, I did say "unfinished or unpublished" in my original post, so either one is fine. :)

I am anxiously awaiting the 418 - it is listed in the decks listing of Aeclectic. There is heavy Qabalistic and Thoth influence in the deck, the colors are vivid. Should be published in 2004 if I am not mistaken.

I wonder if Mary-el had her baby yet? It will keep her from doing art for a while, I know. The baby was due about this time, or even around January, from what I understand.

Ooh thanks Jewel, you`ve just reminded me of this deck. I`m also waiting for this one, I`m off to have another look at it now.

The Mary-el Tarot is a stunning deck in progress. Marie and I have something of a mutual admiration society going. :)
There are some other decks I think are most worthy of mention: The Masque Tarot, Supletion's Tarot, the International Icon Tarot, the 21st Century Tarot, and Kayne's Celtic Tarot. Those who bought a 2003 Tarot Calendar can attest to the stunning work being created by our own members. :D
Naturally, modesty doesn't even get a look in when I mention my own favorite: Major Tom's Tarot. })

Absolutly! I think one of the reasons I am so anxiously awaiting the 418 is because it is also from one of our members (AmounrA), and I know the depth of the deck as he has graciouly allowed me to review, ask questions and comment on the work in progress.

Ohh I didn't know the 418 was Amounra's! I remember marking the page as a favorite but never remembered the title. It's very stunning. Now don't kill me but I think it's prettier than the Thoth! :) Way more appealing..

418 and the South Park Tarot!
I didn't know that the 418 was AmounrA's creation- It's one of the best looking decks I've ever seen, and I am picky! I hope AmounrA doesn't start getting prodding PM's to hurry up! (but please, hurry up ;) )
I don't know whether the South Park Tarot will ever be finished, the creator posted in a previous thread and said a baby was on the way, and I know that having a baby around means no time for hobbies, fun, free time, sleep, etc.
