*growl* No Sacred Circle... I'm aware that's not a classic, but it's my only deck bias...

I was looking for a Visconti deck also! Cary-Yale. And wacky decks like Phantasmagoric... and anime style like Miracle!!!
Ah, well...

Sorry guys that your decks arn't in the list. The list of decks were compiled by all the members of our group. :) Hopefully out of the decks our group picked you can find some you like :)

I realize this is a weird compilation of decks. Nominations were collected over several weeks before the poll began. We'd never held a webpoll like this before and we'll probably plan it a little differently next year. You might remember also, that Tarot for Life is a MUCH smaller group than this one. Not everyone has the decks you've mentioned and worthy as they are... it's generally important to actually OWN the deck in order for it to be your favorite.
Of course, you're free to vote with your feet... We thought you folks might enjoy participating with us. Perhaps we were mistaken.

Greyhound, it's always good to be invited to see what is happening in other wonderful communities also sharing interest in Tarot - and in this and so many other cases, also sharing membership... Though I may like some of the decks listed, I personally could not vote, as it would not give a correct picture - but that is only my point....
I suppose that I would have thought that the three 'basics', for as long as they remain so, would have formed part of any poll (by these I mean any Marseilles, the RWCS, and the Crowley/Harris Thoth) - irrespective of the choice of others...
But thanks for mentioning the poll and your site :)

Never be mistaken. Your poll was fine. I had 2 decks:) Celtic Dragon & Mystic (sisters deck)
I guess a few people didn't realise the SIZE difference....aeclectic is a large site. Perhaps it should be people like myself that should be mistaken? *smacks her hand* I didn't mean my comment to be rude in any way. Well at least next year you'll know which decks to have in your poll!!!

Wow the halloween tarot made it to number four - great. I think the deck really deserves it too :)

Yes, we concluded the poll and have posted the results. It was great fun and I learned a lot... BTW, I've already opened up the nominations for next year's poll for those that felt their favorites weren't included. ;) Thanks to all that helped us out by voting... some of those races would have been too darned close...
