I want to buy a new deck but there are so many to choose from.
I like colourful decks that stand out. Like the colours of the Element and Spiral Tarot. Briught colours are better as i like them to stand out
does any one have any ideas what may be the perfect deck for me.
Thankyou

Hmm.....Perfect deck for you.....that could be a tough one....bright colors don't always make the deck, even if it's the 'bright' one is attracted to. What sort of other things are you in to?
My first deck was a 'perfect' deck for me and I love bright colorful and 'fancy'. Yet the art in this deck was far from colorful. It was the theme of the deck that created the 'perfection'
some colorful decks,
Faery Wicca
Golden Dawn
Nigel Jackson
Crystal Tarot
Fairy Tarot (A. Lupatelli)
Fey Tarot
Tarot Art Nouveau
just to name a few......

in the case of colours, it is all a matter of personal taste.
one would reccomend taking the time to explore the tremedous deck selection of the aeclectic tarot site.
it takes a while i know but i went and made a list of all my favourite decks
(turned out half of my favourite were yet to be published so i had to redit it recently)
example one may reccomend the voyager tarot for colour but the collage might turn you off.
one could reccomend the universal waite, but the waite imagery might turn you off.
once could reccomend the toth tarot. (but the one i have now is nowhere as vibrant as the one i traded a year ago waaah)

I think lalunafey has made some excellent suggestions, and I am sure I can think of some 'colorful' decks. In particular, I might point you to looking at the Osho-Zen and the Quest as being vibrant decks, the former in an artistic way, the latter with its vibrant computer graphics.
HOLMES' advice is also important. Yes, there are plenty of decks out there, and it takes a while to slog through them, but if you do come across a couple that catch your eye, come back and ask what others think of that deck. Many will gladly give you clear assessments of their pluses and minuses.
Finally, my advice is not to be impulsive. Unless you have a lot of money to throw around, you may find yourself buying decks that seem to "call to you" but, after receiving and trying to use a deck, finding that it just doesn't quite fit. I usually put decks on a Amazon wish list and let it sit for a while. After a couple weeks, if I still find it appealing, then I may buy it.
In any case, good luck on your quest.
Peace

If color is what you are looking for, the Glastonbury Tarot has a lot of it. The drawings are a bit on the simple-side in terms of style, but many are quite striking.
The Old English (in a muted way) and Halloween are also colorful decks.

I seem to be the only one who likes this deck but I'll throw it out at you anyway!
Tarot of the Trance
Its pretty darn colorful. Some might think its too busy but I think it really makes the mind travel.
You may also be the type to really take to gold foil decks. Nefertari and the Golden Tarot of the Tsar are great!

Robin Wood Tarot is very colourful, as is the Glastonbury Tarot, and Wheel of Change Tarot.

I would say, if you're leaning towards the Thoth, but are somewhat unsure of this deck, there is an alternative you might try. Some people here probably already know where I'm going... ;) :D This is my favorite deck. There's colors, as well as darkness in cards where it's needed. Plus it uses much more modern imagery than so many Tarot decks do and those modern images really stir up my intuition and imagination.
I see on your profile that you already have the Spiral Tarot, so I won't bother recommending that. ;) And, if you're looking for more vibrant colors, my other two most favorite decks are out... Victoria Regina (black & white) and The Goddess Tarot (muted colors - mine is more muted than shown on the scans).

Fantastical Tarot Deck! It is colourful too! Bit i suggest you buying the Angels' type of tarot deck. Coz it will help your baby to become "like" an angel ^^

Also take a look at the soon to be released Radiant Ryder Waite, and you may want to check out the Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot, it's really bright, but strange.

Let me suggest the Tarot of the Spirit, Cosmic Tribe Tarot, and Tarot of the Trance, for color and style.

Can't see that anybody has mentioned my favourite working deck, the Ancient Egyptian. I find the artwork is exquisite and the cards the perfect shuffling size.
Or perhaps the (rather oversized) Inner Child might appeal to you? It's certainly colourful but I find the cards very hard to work with due to their size. I remember in another thread on the subject people liked this because it made them feel childlike handling such large cards.
