I'm looking for some sort of website that shows several variants of the same card from several decks... you know, a site that, for example, has pictures of The Fool as it appears in several decks, side by side.

You can try tarot.com, it shows all the cards of a lot of different decks.
It doesn't show the cards side by side though, you can only view one deck at a time, but at least it has quite a few decks you can view.

You can try

It has Side by Side Pictures of Judgement, Five of Cups, and the 10 of Swords for quite a few decks, that are RWS based. Just click on the category--Recolored, Closest Redrawings, Theme, or Art Twist.

Or....you could try www.comparativetarot.com. They were still trying to restore their database last time I checked, but I believe the Fool was good to go! :)
