Looking for a certain tarot deck...

Hi,

I'm just getting into Tarot and have started learning it. I want to get a deck for myself but don't know which one to get. Does anyone know what decks have what I'm looking for?

Here's what I'm looking for in a deck.

1) Cards are durable with rounded corners.

2) Card designs similiar to the waite tarot ( I see alot are)

3) Clear, colored illustrations that represent the name of the card. (Lovers look like a couple, Strength shown with a lion)

Thanks for your imput :)

Everybody here knows what I'm gonna suggest...

Robin Wood. :D

Or perhaps Nigel Jackson Tarot? World Spirit?

I second World Spirit - or Spiral.

I suggest checking them online before buying them at any rate! Aeclectic Database RULEZ! You might find wonderful works there - maybe the perfect deck for you! ;)
Right now I feel like the only weirdo that goes through it all constantly... *lol*

How about one of these soon to be released Rider-Waite-Smith style decks: The Radiant Rider Waite or the Tarot of the New Vision.

Hi Rojin,

There is also the Universal Waite, Hanson Roberts, the Diamond, or the Morgan Greer - they are all Rider Waite clones. :)

I started with the Hudes deck, which fits your description. I've recently passed it on to a friend who is just learning because I think it is a great starter deck.

hi and welcome !

i'd go for hanson roberts' universal tarot. same pictures than rider waite that is same symbols exactly, but re-colored so that it makes it lots nicer to look at !

Wow! What a response! I like to thank you all for your insight. I checked out the decks you suggested and decided on either Universal Waite or Hanson-Roberts tarot. I'm kinda steering towards Hanson-Roberts :)

:):):):) Thanx again for your help people! :):):):)

As much as I hate the syrupy sweetness of the Robin Wood, I must echo Kiama and recommend it to you.

It is easy to read, its not expensive, and you can find it anywhere.

Don't forget the Connolly, if you're talking REALLY syrupy sweet!
