not just celebrities that the cards are based on, but the facial features of those celebrities may be shared with people you personally know. This makes this deck a very powerful tool, especially when you feel you know some of these people, including the ones who look like you.
I have a striking resemblence to the princes of cups and pentacles, but with longer hair and more facial hair i could be the hermit. I suppose the Heirphant could be many people, but thanks to my affiniation with this deck i see some similar features that i have. the two prince cards also look like one of my closest friends, needless to say, we look alike. as if to confirm the connection, I am the son (prince) of a scorpio and taurus, my friend is a solar scorpio and a lunar taurus.
It does not stop there.
The prince of wands and the king of cups look like some of my friends (although you may have to take the facial hair of the king), the are respectivly a leo(pr wands) and cancer(k cups).
The princess of pentacles and the woman on teh 9 of pentacles look like my sister. I suppose the queen of pentacles could be my mother or my sister (neither are virgo, but have that homly connection)
the 9 of wands reminds me of another friend, he too is very active
for some reason i feel like i know the princess of swords, but i can't place where i have met this person before.perhaps in another life.
teh figure on teh four of cups reminds me of those who are well off but remain discontent, even if the person himself is a stranger to the eye.
the figure on teh 10 of pentacles reminds me of the most noble people i have met, probably due to his demeanor.
my interpretation of the 9 of cups is me giving a trusting guesture to my sister who is going to mature into the woman in the 10 of cups.
I would not be suprised if i met someone who looks like the woman in the strength card
the three of cups reminds me of the situation my sister puts herself in repeatidily(it quickly becomes the 6 and 7 of cups)
Now i have also had expierences with other decks (rider waite, Faerie wicca, celtic dragon, sharpshifter just to name a few) where there are elemnts that apply to my personal life in certain ways, but the princes of cups and pentacles in this deck make me feel like Norbert Losche is depicting me personally in these cards as well as my lifes stuggles and introspections. I am glad that i waited as long as i did before purchasing this deck, it takes patience, knowledge and restraint to handle the similarites.

I've had a similar experience with my faery wicca deck. I could sware my ex's and my fiance are pictured in this deck, Along with my sister. There's only one prince that I havn't met and I'm a little nervous? about that one, because he could definatly manipulate me or overpower me. But then again, knowing this I've also empowered myself and perhaps become a little stronger just for that. Not to mention, aside from the looks the meanings are just alike, my sister is an aries and the image who looks like her is a princess of swords, air. mine is the beautiful princess of wands, er I hope so she looks so beautiful, smart (indicated by the chess board) and so confident of herself, that and her 'father' the king of wands looks like my dad, but with longer hair. And it fits too because a prince is supposed to marry a princess, well my fiance is the prince of swords, my exs prince of pentacles and prince of cups. There aren't any images of people on the pip cards. so the only images I have to go off are the higher archy and major cards. But I know what you mean.

While i don't exactly look like the riders of domhan and aer, i relate to this pentacle knight card alot (it reminds me of the prince of pentacles in the cosmic tarot), the annier/princess of domhan/pentacles is my sister in both decks.
Both the ridiers mentioned have a female in the background, where one is the other is sure to follow, this is the story of all siblings.
This is not always the best subject to talk about but some things are just too important to ignore.
The way certain faces shift "personality traits" in the cosmic tarot in relationship to certain cards (three of swords, 9 of swords, 10 of swords, 10 of wands, any two or more court cards, etc . . .) initiate intuitive powers that are beyond my control. This deck i believe is one of the most powerful out there, at least for me, but i reserve the right to say that teh messages are very clear, the 9 of swords shows a war occuring in the background with tanks and planes.
sometimes too clear.

well i see myself as the girl in the 3 of cups. and also temperance. these are physical likenesses, but also i like to think i am balanced and creative, and joyful etc etc !

this is also the reason why i prefer decks with pictures like this, so i can relate them to real people - it really helps! i could not imagine doing a reading with cartoon cards. however people into cartoons would disagree with me!
