Today,
I accidently found the Jungian Tarot by Robert Wang
in a shop in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
I have been very enthousiastic about The Tarot Of The Golden Dawn... yet to me The Jungian Tarot seems to be more expressive in it's splendor!
It pleases me very much.
I have no background information on the deck,
and because some symbols on the cards (especially major arcana) are new to me...
I would like to inquire here if someone can tell me just
a little bit more about this work or perhaps direct me to some online information or books related to Robert Wang's Jungian Tarot?
Thank you for reading me,
Bram S.
The Netherlands
(thanks to the TarotLady for accepting me as a member of this forum.... )

The Jungian is on my 'want list', so I don't know that much about it. However there is a good review at [url]www.tarotpassages.com [url]

Thank you very much mr. Holmes.
I looked up your topic and I have decided to get Robert Wangs book
on the Jungian tarot...
Personally, I am a fan of his artwork and books.......
So naturally I am very happy with this deck.
Hey ... too bad nobody really replied to your question
in the topic: 'the jungian tarot changes its meanings'
Gerbear, Thanks for the link 'www.tarotpassages.com '

Wang has more than one book on this deck. I don't have the deck but i have one of the books -- _Tarot Psychology_.
Brammetje ... Which book do you have, or are getting?

robert wang was supposed to a big book on the jung tarot. about cross culture archtypes but i cant' find it on amazon or on the internet.
(more then that i dont' think he has an actual website and cant find a way to contact him to become a master tarot interpater)
the book , i dont' know if you know but it has a mediative interaction with the archtypes, to understand the tarot cards more on a person level.
that is why it is a 36 week course to understand the tarot you do most of the work, it is like a journy into the cards to talk to the cards archytypes which some say you really speaking to your inner self.

my intial thread is to prove an over view of the jungian tarot while those others are to add their feedback on a card and what it brings up or pros and cons and what have you on a seperate thread.
example i just did the emperess card as it is the first card said to study for the major arcana to deal with the mother archetype .
so other can use that as their basis to start a card thread :O) and then i can and others can post feedback on that,
so intially i see it as one overview thread which has all the cards done by yours truly and a 78 seperate threads which is done by other.
the reasons for that is not everyone has the pyschology handbook for the jungian tarot (mine has the minor arcana while others doens't for example, as it is from the first edition in the early 90s )

I bought the book:
''The jungian Tarot and it's archetypal imagery''
By Robert Wang.........
it says it is part of a Trilogy........
I have heard about the book: ''Tarot Psychology..........''
any idea's on what the third part of this work would be?
yes, I would love to read a topic on Robert Wang´s Jungian Tarot
yet I do not think I have enough knowledge to be able to contribute in a good way .......
Thanks!
Bram

that is what the study group is for , to share and learn through that sharing.
and for learning as well through the reading of others experience.
for the emperoress card for example all you need to do is read the back ground ( which you should have more off as i only have the psychology handbook , (but it deal with the minors as shared by others in thread and so once we get to the minors itself it can really help clarify them i think )
it is set up for those who doens't have the book or want a breif overview check my inital thread the jungian tarot study group . which just provides the background from the handbook and my medition.
then go check the thread itself for the individual card in order to get more in depth which has the original background and the medition, but other people meditions.
and in the case of the minors
after the initial information i plan to go find all the information i can and come backa nd post it on what would uranus mean in the cardinal sign of aries, with the number associated with it, and its connection to the sepherioth itself. :O)
and i plan to order that book you have for it is one hundred pages at least more then the handbook and deals with the archetypes and so i figure must have a lot more infromation so in the threads of major arcana i will come back and add to it.
so when you do the medition on the mother archetype or the son archetype of the magican , share it, as it will be unique, powerful , and come from what you need to know however , due to it's universal aspects , other people may get some benefit from reading it :O)
