I saw this new deck mentioned in a magizine and being the tarotholic that I am I just had to check it out. This deck blends goddesses, nature and cross-cultural mythology. I just love the moon card. Here's the link if you want to check it out. http://www.jpc-artworks.com/tarot/index.html

I really like the card that are posted so far. I'm also a big fan of Sage Woman magazine, and one of my favourite issues has the image from the Sun card on it's cover. This is definately a deck I will be on the lookout for. Thank you for posting the link.

Dakini, you are a bad, bad person! I have the 'Ooooh pretty....' syndrome, and you've made it worse! ;) (Not that I actually mind!)
Well, I hope the Gaian Tarot is published soon... I'd buy it, simply for the artwork and new takes on some of the cards. (I love the Hermit!)

They look like beautiful humans, not delicate waifs.
I enjoy the gorgeous colors.

I love it! Thanks for sharing the link Dakini. This deck is incredibly drawn. I really like the fact that the people are all different and are not all heroin-addict thin women with long hair. People can have different haircuts, and finally there's another (World Spirit has variety) deck that recognizes it.
Wow.

I would buy that too!!! NOW!
It's so soft and sweet! And so symbolically alluring!
I feel it very close to my own sensitivity and personality.
Well, doesn't that sound pompous LOL

This deck is gorgeous, I agree with Kesslyn, it`s so nice to see another deck in which the people look realand not like emaciated waifs with identical features. Shame there aren`t many cards done, looks like we`ll be in for a long wait with this one.

Little wing,
I am so glad you revived this thread. This deck is so beautiful. I had forgotten about it though. Now I have it bookmarked and I will sign up for the notifications. This is going to be a powerful deck. I sure hope the minors are just as good as the majors.
My favorite is the Sun card. Doesn't that woman look so joyous and free? I really like them all!

This deck is one which I will definately want when it's finished.
I think that Joanne, the deck's creator joined the Aeclectic community a couple of weeks ago.

Hi Sulis and everyone,
Yes I did join Aeclectic last month, hanging out mostly on the Deck Creation board as that's my main area of interest right now. :-)
Right now I'm feeling a bit frustrated because I am having trouble setting enough time aside to work on the cards. I started the Canoe (aka the Chariot) on Oct 1 and should have finished it by Nov 1 on my internal schedule, but now I'm looking at Dec 1.
I decided a couple of weeks ago to take the entire month of January off from my paying web work as well as my volunteer work (both big time consumers) and only do art for a whole month. What a Solstice/birthday gift to myself!
Anyway, just wanted to say Hello to you all and thank you again for your enthusiasm -- it really does help to know that people are looking forward to seeing the cards. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have and I'm also happy to hear (constructive) criticism.
Thanks and blessings,
Joanna

Here is The Tree (Hanged Man)

What a card! How serene and in tune with herself. Everything around her is 'off', but she remains centered.
Love this one! I can't wait to get this deck!
