Hi, Maan. It's been awhile since I've experienced the thrill of unwrapping a new deck, too. Right now, I'm waiting for the Camoin-Jodorowsky Marseilles deck and the Le Jeu Lenormand. Hope your Vision Quest arrives soon -- a year is a looooong time to wait!

I'm waiting on a Buckland Romani! I can't wait to finally hold it because the artwork looks so beautiful. I haven't had a new deck in months either. A sad thing for a tarotholic.
Oh and I'm trading with RedWood so I'll be getting a Crystal Ally oracle deck.

I have a trade going with Metaz for the Triple Goddess Tarot, one with Lunalafey for the Decameron...
*Thinks*
Possibly an Ananda is on it's way from a friend... :D
Y'know, this last month has seen my deck collection rise about 6 decks, so I'm unsure which ones I'm still waiting for!

I ordered a Comparative tarot off ebay & waited 2 1/2 weeks and nothing came, contacted the seller-they had my right address, went down to the post office -we'd had a new mail carrier all week, nothing came.
She offered to send me a second deck, but that hasn't arrived yet either.............this is the first time I've had trouble with getting something via ebay. The seller has a store, I'm sure she sent a deck out.
I work at home so I beat the mailman to the box for new mail, but I'm not sure I'll be getting this deck after all. I feel bad for the seller who may be out two decks. I have no idea where the first one went but it didn't get returned to her & it never showed up here.

I'm waiting for the Wheel of Change, finally broke down and ordered it a while ago.
It kept popping up, but I was a bit put off by the non-traditionality of it, and the artwork doesn't look too impressive on most of the online scans, a bit 'thin' and fuzzy.
But I think I will enjoy studying it, perhaps meditating with it. The pagan influence in it really appeals to me.
And perhaps I will end up reading with it, I find I have less trouble now with decks that depart from the RWS or Thoth meanings, as long as the deck makes sense in itself and feels balanced.
I received a *lot* of decks lately, mostly from trades. Haven't had time to sit down and work with most of them yet. I should really take a loooooong time out and devote at least a week to really studying some of the decks! :)
Oh, and I'm also waiting for the Tarot of Prague!

I'm waiting on the Quester deck and book, I ordered it from Amazon back in March and was suppost to get it in April. It's now on back order with delivery expected the end of May.
The Dragon Mystigue deck should arrive anyday(I got on ebay).
And of course the Tarot of Prague is preordered. I'm anxiously waiting and having a hard time choosing which card I want for a print its such a beautiful deck. Blessings Dakini

The Margarethe Petersen! Have wanted it forever, but it's not distributed here in Sweden (it will be, I'm sure, but it will probably take FOREVER and a day...!) and I hate internet-shopping overseas if I can avoid it, so I asked a German friend who's coming to Stockholm in June to get it for me and bring it with her when she comes... So! June 3rd it will be in my eagerly waiting little hands! :D

- Cosmic Tribe (YAY) from baba-prague! :D
- Medicine Woman from Kissa! :D
Just two... But two very interesting decks. The first I have been wanting on and off for... AGES! And Medicine Woman was not really on my wishlist, but then I had what Kissa wanted and got really really interested, especially after looking at all the pics... So I am dying to get it too! :D
Also I am sending off decks to people (not in trades) and don't want to spend more for shipping (shipped four things last week, and three to ship still! DOH! *LOL*) so can't afford other trades or buys (I am spending lots on books lately myself like jema :*)

Ahhh, my wait list... becoming a tarot bargain hunter.
I found the Ancestral Path available, with book and all, for less than $8 (half.com for any who want to know where), and I bought the Bosch.
Thinks I am going to curb the spending of money and begin the spending of time with these decks..*s*

I am waiting for a cheap copy of the Ancestral Path and Wheel of Change tarot, deck plus book because I want to use both for studying.
8 $ at half.com is great Khatruman...but for Europe, the shipping costs may be so high that it is better for me to look for a copy here. A deck alone is not so much, but those decks with books...

Woohooo Wolf spirit about the Wheel of Change..I have that.. ihave not studie in depth..but it is rather interesting!

Sacred Rose..really dont like it....putting it up for trade. The rose part is interesting..but that is the extrent of my interest of it.

My Comparative Tarot finally came in the mail. This one will take some getting used to--but I can see how the different decks would enhance or expand each position meaning. it's going to take practice though.

I got the Dante too, but when I looked at them they made me tired :(
They are beautiful, but I got discouraged because it will take me so much work before I can use them at all, or know what they are all about.

I must become more internationally sensitive. I know I behave too much like the egocentric American sometimes, and don't take into account that the world isn't the U.S of A...LOL.
And Pollux.. I did order the Tarot of Transformation, it was available cheaper than anywhere else at overstock.com... Would get you one, but my checkbook and charge card say it isn't Christmas yet.. :P

Khat, I did not read your post as inetrnationally insensitive. But looking at the tarot section at ebay I think you do get teh feeling the whole world is USA...not that many bargains tarotwise for us Europeans.
The ancestral is not rare nor very expensive, so I will get it anyway, but it would be so cool to get something I want real cheap...also, I am trying to make the intervals between buying decks longer and finding a deck at a bargain price would be a perfect reason to break this rule :P

For those of you that were hoping to trade for The Wise Woman's Tarot, you can at least get the deck for the next week or so for $10.
It's the deck's a one year anniversary and to celebrate Flash Silvermoon is selling the deck seperately for the first time ever. This link will get you the anniversary deal: http://www.flashsilvermoon.com/anniversary.htm
