that is more integrated, global, that reflects the world i live in....a frustration with my current deck, morgan greer ( and many other decks) is that everyone is whiter than milk. okay in MG there is the 9 of pentacles that is a black woman, and 6 of pentacles is a brown man, and if you have imagination the Queen of Swords has a latin look to her....i have seen african decks..and some of the 'world ' decks.......but i want something that has black to white with cinnamon and coffee in between... i want a court cards in different shades... and i want stunning art work. ...cards that individually speak volumes; like Rohrig... the type where you think what a beautiful spread, and the story comes out like a dream......( not to be so demanding ;-) but i know what i want)
im starting to think i need to make it myself...but that is going to take years .....any suggestions in the meantime

mimers and tarot lady
much thanks for the quick replies...i have looked at both decks before but this time i gave them more than a quick scan....i love the blue hanged man from world spirit...and the fool from ancestral path....why must things always be so difficult...i balk at the seer...etc...with world spirit. and i like my strength 8 and justice 11 ( sorry ancestral path)
though i suppose i could get used to either...
or maybe it is time to start working on the deck in serious!

...and a fourth, here. The World Spirit and Ancestral Path tarots are very beautiful multi-cultural decks.

Alexangra Genetti's Wheel of Change deck is multi-cultural. It is non-standard enough that it might have a bit of a learning curve, but the book is thorough and (I think) really interesting. I just used this deck again today and got a great reading from it. Strength is 8 and Justice 11 in the book, although the Major cards themselves do not have numbers on them (the minors do).

I just purchased the Ancestral Path, I am very pleased with it.
It is multicultural and the art work is beautiful.
Each suit illustrates Japanese, African, and Native American culture aas well as the Legend of King Arthur.
You should have a look at it Catti.

People suggest the MerryDay Tarot, which has an interesting mix.
But I chose instead on a vacation to Monterey, California, a team that is local to Northern California. This one that has a funny flavor, but it is interesting to me. There's some Asians in it...is Guardians of Wisdom. Not really tarot and you may feel it is not multicultural enough, as only Native American and Ancient Asian human cultures...although after looking at the Angels and Universal Archetypes in the majors, I'd say there's a blend of many types.

Tarot Passages and Tarotgarden has samples of the Guardians of Wisdom.
