Last b-day present will be the best for my funny imagination. Tarotgarden.com is selling their 'p' titles at discount and the Pandora's Tarot had that silly author name that is common to some manga art titles--Emily Scherade. You can see the name listed at www. sasugabooks.com in some of their tarot titles. Anyway, the real name of the artist is Chen Shu Fen, and she might be a photographer, as well. If I search under art Chen Shu Fen, the following comes up:

The last has so many pictures once you click on the text, you might actually overload on her art and pretty faces. The tarot actually has some moodier faces, as you can see in the first link. I
think it's a better selection of her traditional, romantic and somber portraits.

Pretty covers for manga or romantic titles, it seems. She depicts a young Asian style version of the romantic art that I favor in the Tarocchi Romantici.
The pips are not illustrated, but they are arranged in nice patterns such as the Spanish pips of the Ancient Tarot of Lombardy. Right now this is deplacing my fantasy favorite the Zufkunst for a vacation getaway...I'm glad it was my last summer budget purchase and hope this helps manga fans...

Ohh this deck is lovely. I got mine new off of eBay for a great price $25 + $9. I occassionally see the same seller from Hong Kong sell it, even a little bit cheaper now. This deck has totally taken over the Miracle Tarot's place ahhh! The pips ARE nice aren't they? The best unillustrated pips I've seen. The objects in the pips really stand out against the plain white background. I think the swords look awfully blunt though, but still nice. I really love the Wheel card. The backs are simple but attractive, like a unique black domino.
Very, very lovely deck.
