Tarot Junkie Seeks Latest Fix

It seems that I am doomed to love affairs with discontinued tarot decks... I just spent ages trying to come across the "out-of-publication" Oswald Wirth deck, and though my efforts met with success, I don't feel like my newest obsessions will find its end so satisfactorily.

I have heard rumors that the Knapp-Hall tarot is going to be republished by U.S. Games, but this could be entirely unfounded. Does anyone have an inside-scoop? Or, if there is no new deck forthcoming, perhaps someone could tell me where I would get one of the past editions... if only I could just be happy with the Fey tarot, they sell that everywhere...

...did you get a discontinued 22 card edition in the French translation of Tarot of Magicians or the 78 card version by U.S. Games?

I thought Ron Decker was writing something up on the Knapp-Hall, but I may be mistaken by what I reard on Tarot Passages, in the article section with two interviews by Ron Decker.

If I find anything new, I'll post.

Hey, I love talking about Levi, Papus, Wirth and the gang, so don't feel shy for asking!

I got the French trumps, because I think the language is more elegant than English and it helps keep my mind from making associations based purely on words, and helps keep me focused on the images instead. Also, I really only needed the Major Arcana to help get me through "Meditations on the Tarot," which is, I think, one of the best resources out there!

Because the Knapp-Hall has some interesting suit cards and minor arcana, and because the major arcana are based primarily on Wirth's designs (with some help from Waite), I think this is the logical deck for divination purposes.

I, too, read that article in tarot-passages, but didn't find it corroborated anywhere else, including the US Games page, so I was wondering if it was old, defunct news. Anyone with an update?
