Liked Grace Jones as the Devil!

(I'm suffering from stupid syndrome today: had to edit this thing 3 times for spelling! AND IT'S ONLY ONE SENTENCE LONG!)

That Max Headroom was more a flash in the pan, not really going the distance I thought. But I liked the Edward Scissorshands card a lot (The Moon).

Well the descriptions are certainly not very subtle *LOL*
Adam Ant as the knight of pentacles ? I always thought he was a bit more fiery.

The Cocteau Twins were a band with sort of dreamy poetic music. If I remember correctly they named themselves after the writer Cocteau and are not a family.

I've never heard of the Cocteau Twins either, but they have a web site -- http://www.cocteautwins.com/
According to that they were a low key phenomenon, but broke up in the 1990's after 15 years. Hmm. Another band I don't remember...

Robert Smith! Morrissey! Peter Murphy! Depeche Mode! Ian Curtis!
Oh, I'm fighting the urge to go swath myself in velvet RIGHT NOW in the summertime. WHO HID MY JOY DIVISION CD?
BUT, GUYS? WHERE'S SIOUXIE?
(Oooh, and the three of swords? Chrissy and Wendy O on the same card? Does it get any more explosively fabulous? Why is Pat Bennetar's ugly ol' head up in there?)

oh yes...
it's true ...
I am a teen of the 80s, and furthermore, I was a "new waver". Which pretty much means, I know or have some familiarity with at least 90% of the references they use.
thing is... i dont know any of them by face, so as cards, they seem useless to me ! Now, if they could make musical cards ...
(walks off singing, "Cause there is always something there to remind me... Always something there to remind meeee")
