who knows this deck..........

Hi, My name is Caine and I live in London, UK I found a small deck of cards between other Tarat decks on a car boot sale...but am a bit puzzled what kind of deck I have stumbled upon. The owner could not tell me anything since he was selling them for a family member. The best I can do is describe the cards..and maybe someone recognizes it. I was unable to find any information on the internet. I did not come in a box but was simply bound together with a tiny black ribbon. I don't think that it is old because the cards are all in mint condition. It contains 36 cards in total There are 6 cards numbered A,2,3,4,5,6 which depict egyptian symbols, the backs of these 7 cards are brown with a cobra on them. There are 6 cards numbered A,2,3,4,5,6 which depict voodoo-related items, the backs are green and depict a Top-Hat ( like a magician's top hat ). There are 6 cards numbered A,2,3,4,5,6 which depict bones and thorns, the backs are blue and depict a thorn. There are 6 cards numbered 2,3,4,5,6,7 which depict the tools of a witch, the backs are deep-orange and depict a witch's cauldron. There are 6 cards numbered 2,3,4,5,6,7 which depict various items ranging from a mirror, a ring with poison, a cage, etc... the backs are deep-red and depict the symbol of a Bat. Last but not least: again 6 cards ranging from 2 to 7, showing pictures of creepy toys. the backs are purple and show the letter H in capitals. Can anybody help me out who recognises this deck ? and maybe help me find information / or directions how it is used? Thank you. Caine

I'm wondering if this isn't tarot & instead some cards for a board game? I'm thinking this because of the different backs, usually a deck has the same back throughout so you don't know what the fronts of the cards are when you shuffle. It doesn't sound familiar though. Are there words in English on the fronts or just the numbers and an A?

Thanks for your quick reply.... I know that it seems like the cards might be from a boardgame,yet there are no indications or words or anything that might give a clue on these cards. Just a big letter A or a Number on the front with a picture below. 6 cards in each of the 6 colors ( yet 3 sets range from A (Ace?) to 6, while the other 3 sets range from 2 to 7 ). I could scan them in and maybe send the picture ...( just don't know where to send it to.) Can you post pictures on this site? I have this deck for about 7 or 8 years now. and it still puzzles me what it could be.

The people over at Tarotgarden.com might have a better idea, their database contains over 2,000 decks. Maybe an email to them could solve this?
