Hi folks ... I thought it would be interesting to start a thread to compile the definitive list of tarot decks whose SMALL CARDS (i.e., Two to Ten of each suit) come with Golden Dawn astrological correspondences printed on them. http://www.supertarot.co.uk/astro/attrib.htm Offhand, I can think of the following: - Thoth - Hermetic Tarot (Dowson) - Golden Dawn (Ciceros) - Magickal Tarot (Anthony Clark) - Light and Shadow Tarot (Goepferd/Williams) - Tarot of Ceremonial Magick (Duquette) - Love is in the Earth Crystal Tarot: THE Tarot for the Millennium by Melody http://www.tarotpassages.com/melody.htm - Tarot of the Spirit (Eakins) - Tree of Life Tarot / Kabbalistisches Tarot (published by AG Müller) http://www.trigono.com/tarots/TA03TAAV.htm Any other decks? This is a fantastic idea, Rusty Neon. I'll have to check my decks when I have time and see if there are others I have which are not listed. With regards to the Crowley/Harris 'Thoth' deck, it should be noted that the associations are Golden Dawn modifications with regards to the Major Arcana, as Tzaddi and Heh are interchanged - though I realise this doesn't affect the purposes of this thread.

I can't think of any others; but I wanted to mention that DuQuette's companion book to the Ceremonial Magick deck, which you can buy separately and I recently did for $5.00, is the most concise and easily referenced compilation of these correspndences I've ever seen. Even if you don't exactly swoon over the deck the book itself is well worth getting.

Nobody is crediting the Golden Dawn for the Chaldean decanates. However, the Golden Dawn astrological assignments (of the Chaldean decantes, including planet-in-sign) for the numbered minor arcana do differ from those established by other occultists. There are 36 decanates, yet 40 numbered minor arcana cards divided in 4 suits; therefore, there is more than one way to match a given decanate among the 36 to a given card among the 40.
