Lover's Path Tarot

It looks like Kris Waldherr is putting together another Tarot deck. http://www.artandwords.com/lptarot/index.html It's called the Lover's Path, and uses the images and stories of historical and mythical lovers to convey the meanings of the cards. It the same beautiful art work as always, although it looks slightly more refined then the Goddess Tarot, in my opinion. I'd like to see more of this deck before I decide if it is for me, but some of the cards are just wonderful. Such as the Three of Swords and the Isis and Osiris cards.

Thanks for posting the link, silverlotus! I love the artwork. It's gorgeous and definitely seems a little more detailed/focused than the Goddess Tarot. I can't wait for it to come out so I can get it into my hot little hands. :) Kes

yes, thank you!!!! i am really loving the cards shown on the site... only bummed i have to wait til 2004 to get them into my hands... sometimes these previews can be torture! btw.. kris also just released a pocket sized goddess tarot :o) which will be nice for those of us w/smaller hands!

This is indescribably beautiful! I love the minors but I have no idea how I would use the majors - they aren't like any other Tarot deck I have ever seen.

I'm hoping she will put out another workbook or maybe that it will come out with in a deck and book set. I think I remember reading in her site news section that she is working a book for it. Hopefully by the time it comes out next year my sweetheart will have ended the ban on new tarot deck entering the house! :)

I find the cards very pretty from what I have seen so far. Looks like it will be for me more of a collector's deck than a reading deck though.
