i don't know if any of you remember peter wood's hugobia site where he was looking for endorsements from tarot lovers to help him get his teddy bear deck published?
well, now he is selling the teddy bear deck at tarot garden. it is a majors only deck, handmade in a box, and sells for $450. what i've seen of the deck is adorable. i wish i had a spare $450 to give the guy. i'd like to see the whole deck published.
anyone else seen it?

i could be wrong but i think he may be trying to raise money to have his whole deck published. a while back he had an offer for people to invest in the hugobian deck so he could raise money. then once the deck was published the invester would get a deck and the money back or something like that. i'll try to find the original link.

Truthsayer: Thanks so much for posting this thread! Have long been interested in Peter Wood's artwork & his Tarot deck designs.
I also would like to see the Hugobian Tarot available in its entirety. The images are well-executed & appealing (to me, as I am fond of teddy bears).
Peter has also designed limited editions of playing cards.

I contacted Peter Wood & he explained that no part of the Hugobian Tarot has been available for sale.
The Majors only Teddy Bear Tarot is *not* the Hugobian Tarot but a hand-made deck he did for Tarot Garden. He specifically makes a few such decks for collectors as time permits.
The Hugobian Tarot is a full 78-card deck & is intended to be very affordable.

oic! well, when i saw that deck at tarot garden i didn't know what he was up to. since you've been in contact with him, do you think there would be anyway he might be interested in doing an interview for AT? it might help him with getting well known enough to get his deck published. i'm sure there are enough of us who love cutesy decks and teddy bears to be interested in hearing what he has to say. is he still offering "stock" in the deck in you invest in it or has he gotten something else going now?

Truthsayer: An interview sounds like a great idea! I was thinking about asking him for an interview. Since ye mention it that must mean I ought to ask :)
I think the stock option is still available as it is still posted on his website.
