I've just been given this deck as a present by someone I have never met :) I was saying on another forum that I was thinking about decks with pips, and she emailed me to offer me the deck as a gift! We had previously traded books, but this is so kind...
Anyway, I love the deck. I can't understand why it sticks to RWS attributions for swords (more or less) and yet has cups with decoration rather than illustration. But the batons are sweet and so are the coins. I've done one reading with it - for my son at his request - and it is a sweet deck.
Has anyone else got it and what do you think of it?

I agree with you entirely, being fond of my lil' Anglo Saxons? ;) Such a wonderful idea too - small vignettes of RWS-like meanings (mostly)... but it just didn't QUITE seem to complete itself, did it? (I love e.g. the little "prisoner" on the Eight of swords and more besides.) On the other hand the Majors bear a remarkable resemblance to the Marseille - Clearly a LOT of thought/planning went in there too. But it's not the only deck where one imagines a deadline got the better of it? Otherwise :)

P.S. I think she missed an excellent opportunity for an Abbess-like character for the High-Priestess (really in context anyway!) But beggers can't be choosers... :D
